Telling the truth about this sham of a business....Hummm it sucks

I think there food is great I always get the ribeye on the rock and. A loaded potato and it. Makes me happy :]
Everyone has there own taste. Its u like it or you don't like it .

We ate at hot rocks last Thursday and it was very disappointing. I ordered the seafood platter and the rock lobster tail was so overcooked that I asked for another one. They did bring me another one but it tasted like lemon dish soap. We took it home but threw it away in the nearest trash so it wouldn't smell up the car. Won't go there again.

Seems like the only positive poster is the same person from Charleston,WV that keeps posting under different names. They are probably the owners or close friends of the owners or an employee. With all the negative reviews I doubt they will be open very long. Rule of thumb in the restaurant business is an unhappy customer will relay that info ten fold when a happy customer will tell very few.

If u hear the seafood platter is gross then don't order it gosh hahah .... keyword steak house .. get steak

Its a Lava Rock. If you want to know more about them, you can google Lava Rock and find lots of info. Very cool, great food and wonderful service.

I live in Helena, drove to Ocean Springs just to eat there. I do not know the owner or anyone else affiliated with Hot Rocks, except the server we met while dining there. We thought it was awesome! We recommended it to our friends and family and WILL return soon.

My goodness, I didn't think they were intelligent enough to be able to spend time on the computer, after the crappy service we got there. I certainly doubt the owners (manager) can read, as the complaint we lodged was never answered.

Maybe they'll get the Salvetti's curse, lol

I wouldnt go back to this place even if they offered me a life time of free meals!!! I rate mcdonalds and burger king way better than this nasty place!!! i was sitting at the bar about to eat and an actual huge a** cock roach crawled across the bar right between me and my wife!!!

You can report such (cockroaches) to Board of Health. Check their website. Mississippi Board of Health.

Well, I have heard people who do like it and people who don't. I guess it's that way with any food establishment. Seems like there is a lot of postings on here from an unhappy "PERSON". I guess the way to get back at someone for ripping them off is to try to make them look as bad as he/SHE can. If the food is as bad as you say then they will go out of business. Until then maybe if they are unhappy when they leave they can make a trip to your liquor store and drown their sorrows that is unless they would like to pay less and go to another liquor store.

Ive heard mixed reviews but mostly about price. My father and his friend said they thoroughly enjoyed their shrimp&oyster poboy with comeback sauce. I think I will give it a try this weekend.

Eating the steaks on the Rock was definitely fun and different. My husband and I had a great time. Will be back.

Just visited this place and will not go back. Half of the items on the menu were not avaialable and it took nearly and hour and a half to get out food. Keep in mind, you still half to wait on th efood to finish cooking on the rock (actually a marble square) that cooled off in about ten minutes leaving the meat raw - not even seared. Our tickets were all mixed up and the manager acted as if we should hav expected all of this when we complained about the service and food.
I do not recommend anyone go to this poor excuse for a steakhouse.
