there was nothing wrong with burning untill they started restricting it. you cant burn at night on that point befor they made that rule no one had to deal with the smoke because 90% of people were asleep. stop restricting them and stop blaming the farmers for all the problems. which do you think is worse polution some fields being burnt or the smog in pretty much all of the major citys.

They will now use chemicals to do the job of controling fungus and pests that field burning did naturally. Where do you think these chemicals will go, yep, leach into the water system. Smart move by the legislatures to ban what was done naturally. Enjoy your now polluted water system. The farmers were burning for over 100 years and you get people moving into any area that they know has field burning and they complain. If you don't like the smoke, do not move to Oregon, stay in California where they have fires and smoke all summer.
