No accents, I think it should be "do Arkansas people have accents?" As for going barefooted, yes we do because here in Arkansas we are walking on holy ground!!

words like "twiced" get em bad.

but ya know, words get them alot, in KY a "poke" is a sack you put stuff in

What made it popular to them yanks is Jeff Foxworthy's skit on words. jeetyet? No, but if you have a sandwich, that would be fine.

carry me to the store? Can't, not enough gas in the truck.

Hoopdee= truck

My family back in MI make fun of me when I talk.

Hey, we use the word "poke" up here too, "pig in a poke", let's have some "poke salad" for supper. Not exclusive to farther south, LOL. Also the old timers used words up here like "zinc" for sink, but I haven't heard it for many years now. I think it was a more rural, country word than an area exclusive. There's plenty more, just "cain't" think of them "rat" now, LOL!

Something else you here that you don't up north is the use of your middle name from yo mama,

When she's called you for the 4th time or you done something you surely regret. And She found it out.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Sagittarius

Tension and worry loom large at various times during the day, but it's nothing that will overwhelm you. If you can manage to keep a cool head, your nerves in check and think things through logically, you'll have a relatively smooth day. Children are a source of joy at the moment.
