On August 25, 2008, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) received a written complaint. The complaint is on our son’s behalf. The complaint number is 20093670. Our son was in special Ed at Sealy ISD. The complaint is about Sealy ISD not following his IEP(individual education plan)

Our HOPE was to get Erik our son to get special education service with Sealy ISD.

First, Thank You from the bottom from our heart for your effort, your time, and concern on arranging a face to face meeting with the special education director & Sealy ISD. Yesterday's meeting, took place at Sealy Jr. High at 2:30pm. We arrived at 2:15pm at the Sealy Jr. High Office, hoping to get the introductions out of the way before the meeting. When asked the purpose of our business by Sealy Jr. High teacher and secretary, we told them both that we were here for an 'informal meeting' with the Special Education Director. Both of them said "I am unaware of any such meeting".

The Special Education Director stated four to five times during the meeting that she would talk to the superintendent to get the ban lifted, saying we need to trust her, new school year, and new campus. During the meeting, twice the Sealy Jr. High principal said he asked Officer Nagle about the school banning. He stated Officer Nagle said that the law on school banning is good for one year and not for this campus

Well I showed him (the principal) and the panel the ban letter with the start date, had no finish date and it was for all Sealy ISD properties. You know I never did anything desire to get banned from schools, but they (SISD Personals) lunged and hit my wife, plus we filed Sealy Police Reports with Austin County about this incidents.

"Grandma always said show respect and honesty during a meeting, you will get that in return."

The meeting was taped, and started with the introductions of the Special Education Director and the meeting started ten minutes late.
I started with asking questions about the IEP, I also asked fifteen pre-written questions about goals, objectives and evaluations. No replies came from Sealy Jr. High panel nor no indication if they would prepare to address our questions before and after the meeting. We noticed the Sealy Police Officer walking back and forth around the meeting. His name was Officer Nagle. He was told to be there because of me, and I am banned from SISD property because of Ms. Morris (superintendent).

Since there are not mutual respect, nor honesty in this meeting, Erik will continued to be home schooled.

Congratulations are in order, we have been approved to be on Down Syndrome of Houston(DSAH) satellite in Sealy. This support group will be for parents of children in the Austin County area with disabilities. I also, offered the Special Education Director to work with us on this project.

Afer the meeting, the teacher gave us a tour of the classroom, we asked her where Erik would be sitting and was told that they don't have room at the moment and would be sitting at the her desk. But she was quick to point out that they had 3 stoves in the classroom and had to remove one because of no space.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
