It was historic for a President of the U.S. to visit your town.

BUT, my sense of history tells me that Al Rinker and his mother and
sister were instramental in introducing a 'new-age' in music. Not just in the U.S but internationally.

Your town was the birth of a positive genre of Jazz and Popular
music.(Al Rinker with Popular, Mildred Baily(Rinker) in Jazz.

As a musician I feel that Tekoa should claim the right as internationl revisionist in music in the 20's and 30's.

It would be interesting for your city to celebrate your 'History'.

I have tried to contact your mayor with no success.

I would love to know if the Rinker's home is still standing and if
their piano still exist?

Any reponse from you would be greatly appreciated/eugeneburden@hotma il.com
