THE CITY OF CLIFTON VETERAN'S COMMITTEE WILL HAVE THE ANNUAL VETERANS PARADE ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8th.
COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR VETS SEE THE PARADE LED BY CLIFTON'S MUSTANG BAND AND FOLLOWED BY SO MANY BANDS AND GROUPS OF OLD AND YOUNG ALIKE. STARTS 2 PM ON MAIN AVENUE FROM SYLVAN AVE. TO MAIN MEMORIAL PARK(MAIN AND TROAST COURT)

I would hope that every town would support the VETS and the TROOPS like Clifton, NJ ! They are the reason for us being FREE. The latest project at City Hall is collecting manufacturer coupons for families of our troops to use in the PX. Container is on first floor at the Mail/Reception Desk. When it comes to the Vets everyone from the Mayor, Council, City Manager, Employees and most importantly the People are on the same page. It is a beatiful thing about Clifton. And don't forget they have the biggest US Flag display in the Nation and the next showing is the Veterans' Day Nov. 11. Each Flag is honoring a living or deceased Veteran that was a Cliftonite. Oh yes with the right leadership other towns can do the same. God Bless our Vets, our Troops and our Nation. And may he continue to Bless CLIFTON NJ a great All American Place.

Clifton.....I totally agree with you and God Bless our troops. Veterans Day is 'kind of a big celebration' around the shore area too. There will be many celebrations. I have to give the people in Clifton credit ... They do the right thing for the right reasons...weather it's a celebration of a holiday or keeping misfits out of your town (at least trying to)....Congrads to all.....

The same respect was all around the Jersey Shore area on Veterans Day. At 9:30 AM a parade kicked off on Rte. 37 & 9/166 or Main which ever you call it. They marched to downtown Toms River. Then it was off to a clubhouse where the ceramony was fantastic and afterwards there were sandwiches/desserts/coffee/tea , etc. And later on in the afternoon it was to the VFW. As I said before...Clifton does it right. Let's all say a prayer for out troops tonight.....
