Best pizza? The Famous Midtown Grill in Clifton. They make a special pie with feta and kasseri cheese with olives and dates as well as and laxano gemista (stuffed cabbage).
Midtown doesn't have pizza or stuffed cabbage so where have you been that has both? Specials at Midtown are Chili Hot Dogs, Fresh Turkey dinners, Gyro and a great Chicken over veggie salads.

You're joking right? I lived in FL for 15 years and I know bad pizza!
All it took was one bite. I took a bite out of a slice and asked the guy how long the pie was sitting around, he told me it was fresh. It was so bad I left 2 bucks on the counter and walked out. It was that NASTY!

You're right about Florida pizza...it's horrible! They can't bake bread or rolls well, either. It must be something about the climate there! But you can't get better shrimp anywhere else!

You kids are being silly. I make the best pizza myself. Just put Cheeze Wiz on an English muffin and top it with ketchup (I like Hunts best). This makes an absolutely delicious pizza that would satisfy the most authentic Italian taste buds. It tastes best with a can of Old English 800. YUM!

You must be talking about another Brunos. It has one of the best pies in this region. Sounds like competition making noise.

No I'm not the competition, Just a pizza lover.

The Brunos I'm talking about is on 46 next to Big Lots and a Dollar
store. A few years ago when I first moved back to Jersey it was my first Pizza stop just after I dropped off the truck. It was NASTY! I thought maybe they just had a bad day or a new cook, so I tried again.. Nope, still bad. so I gave it one last shot this summer it was so bad I only had one small bite I asked the guy how long this pizza was out and he told me he just made it. I then asked how much and tossed two bucks on the bar and walked out and got a sandwich at quiznos. Save your money, Brunos is not worth trying.

Listen here rvc you douche bag (hey is that 1 word or 2?). I write a food column for the Record, therefore I am highly qualified to say that you’re an asshole! The Goat cheese pizza they serve at Brunos is the best on the planet you sucker! Your problem is that you’re probably so high; you don’t know what good is. Listen here coke head, I’ll meet you at Brunos and shove a whole pie down your throat you snot nose bastard!
Love,
Cliftonian – Cliftonite or whatever my name is today!
