I read the entire thread, but honestly don't remember seeing anything about possible DNA evidence that could be tested against a current database. I recently saw a television show where they did just that and were able to close a 30+ year old murder case. It would be great if they could do that here. You have to wonder how someone could commit a crime like this and go on to live a normal, law-abiding life afterwards. Seems more likely they would have some kind of run-in(s) with the law since then. It would be great if they were in the DNA database, wouldn't it?

Maybe the person who has hijacked the thread, is obsessed with the murder and seems to know EVERYTHING about it. The same person who is now posting under five different aliases, attacks the theories of everyone else, and is pointing the finger at the victim's father, friend, boyfriend, ex-boyfriends, neighbors, delivery persons and random Topix posters. The person who seems downright offended by the theory that rape may have been the intent and knows for a fact that it was NOT. The person who claims to have "information" but doesn't seem too eager to contact the GHPD with that information and instead has been "fishing" to find out what other posters know and then belittles and corrects them! And finally, the person who has a "Good Little Catholic Girl" hang-up. Creepy, creepy, creepy.
