Although no one doubts that SOME projects can benefit from more money in the short-run, is it worth jeopardizing the greater good of the country? The right thing to do, is to reject the money. The "stimulus" bill will only grant money with strings attached. This means that our taxes will inevitably increase for years to come for projects that will no longer benefit anyone. Obama's tactics of pushing things through so that no one has time to read/realize what is really happening is throwing this great country into a downward spiral that will cost even future generations billions of dollars. This is a time for EVERYONE to cut back, not just citizens. As far as I'm concerned, any politician that accepts even one cent of the "stimulus" is one that doesn't deserve re-election. Unless the money for SD is going to be directly distributed (in the form of a check) to the actual residents, then it won't stimulate the economy in any way. People are really suffering. The only relief is actual money in our pockets... money we rightfully earned through hard work! When will our taxes for this "stimulus" be high enough? It's been projected that many families will be paying over 50% of their hard earned money to the government. Where is the stimulus there?
