Guinness Drinker: You are NOT voting for Kathleen Rice because of her strong stand on drunk driving. Obviously, by your moniker, you are a heavy drinker and maybe an out-and-out alcolohic. Kathleen Rice is going to keep you and other like you off the road while you imbibe. Drink at a bar within walking distance of your home. Call a cab. Pick a non-drinking friend as a designated driver.
There are many ways to escape Kathleen Rice's wrath. Her strong and dedicated stance is why people SHOULD vote for her. Because she is just as tough a lady on other important issues. I'm voting for KATHLEEN RICE and feel privileged to do so. Joe

cripes, wake up you Fountain of Misinformation; when Hillary was Senator, she promised 4,000 new jobs...she gets elected then runs off to the state department ? where are the jobs ???? Your hero is out for herself, not you. If someone offered her a role as the next judge in 'The People Court' she'd jump at it....right after jumping the Executive Producer's bones

How many beers have you had, GD? Your jibberish contains some pretty bigoted stuff against women. Does this only come out when you're drinking. Cut him off, bartender. Get him a cab. Drive him straight to the polling place so that he can at least do his civic duty. Then drive him home so that he can sleep it off. And read in the newspapers the morning after that KATHLEEN RICE has won by a landslide.

Guinness Drinka: I use the pseudonyms so that my name does not overwhelm the various threads. I keep them as a play on words regarding the subject of each thread. Example: Per Simmons on the Gene Simmons comments. Read it. It's funny, if I do say so myself.

Spread it around: Joe Krupinski stopped drinking alcohol (vodka), beer and wine two weeks ago on Sept. 1. Strictly V-8 juice and tonic during happy hours (5-6:30 p.m.) at the beach and cranberry juice-grapefruit juice at K.C. Gallagher's.

I feel great morning, noon and night. No cravings. If so, I just recall the pledge to my lady friend and myself. Feels good to show off your own determination and single-minded goal.

You ought to try it, GD, you'd like it.

As singer Dean Martin of the Rat Pack used to say: "I feel sorry for those people who don't drink. When they get up in the morning, that's the best they are going to feel all day."

Kathleen Rice is a misguided hypocrite. Her current office has proven to be incompetent. She would be steering us in the wrong direction, no doubt about it.

Rice planned on going on the bigger things. She did'nt plan on being stuck as Nassau DA. Watch the wheels start coming off in about six months. She was counting on being gone by then.

Momma Chamberlin: You sure know how to knock a person when they're down. There is nothing by which to deduce that Kathleen Rice is nothing else but a pure-bred, all-American and feminine woman. And it's a despicable act on your part to imply anything different. Crawl back under your rock, Momma. Oh, by the way, will you be honest and tell us if YOU yourself are gay.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
