For Tankleff, celebration tempered by sad realities

Tankleff states "...that he also looked forward to Suffolk police and prosecutors having to pay for their role in his conviction. "Hopefully someone will make them answer."

Tankleff seems confused. He was not found not guilty and as stated "...State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's opinion that there remains "some evidence" that Tankleff killed his parents..." clearly shows that there is doubt that he was wrongly convicted. I think he is guilty and Cuomo felt he has already spent sufficient time in jail for the crime. He also knows trying the case again would be impossible.

I sure would like to know why the murder weapon wasn't introduced into evidence. First O.J. now Marty.

It must be nice to kill 2 people and wind up getting away with it 20 years later. This man was convicted by a jury and repeatedly turned down on appeals due to the overwhelming evidence that he did in fact kill his parents. Then one day some judge decides to overturn the decisions and we're all supposed to feel sorry for this heartless double-murderer.

"My parents were murdered 20 years ago. I was wrongly prosecuted. And the killers are still out there," Tankleff said. "It's really not that type of celebratory day. It's a day of relief that it's finally, essentially, over for me. But the killers are still roaming the streets."

Yeah, whatever you say, OJ... I mean Marty.

I never thought he did.. right from the beginning.... I hope he can get on with his life...and try and put the past behind him...good luck to him....

What this case demonstrates is that all too often, prosecutors and police officers are more interested in "closing the case" than they are in finding the truth.

How many more people have to be falsely arrested and/or falsely convicted by our perverted system of justice?

Family DOES NOT include that hag of a sister that the name Judas more accurately describes. Strange isn't it ? She's the only one to benefit monetarily, yet she's the one who would love to see you hang. Errr, that is, her and her cohort Jim McCready. You're right Marty, one day at a time, and when you're ready, go after them. They've had twenty years of the good life. Time they paid.

I think Cuomo put these comments in to buffer against a wrongful imprisonment lawsuit, and also to cover himself in the event of future developments. I personally don't think he did it, but you never know.

AMEN ! Why is Stuermann and Martys half sis allowed to run free with all the cash and become business partners with death money, while Marty has to spend 20 yrs of his life in a 4x4 cell and now try to rebuild his life? Seems like they had more motive to me.......Good Luck Marty !
