Before you start disrespecting police officers you might try to go out every day and put your own life on the line and see how you like it.

I adore DEARBORN POLICE, GROSSE POINTE POLICE .....I respect police departments that are not crooked. Dearborn Hts. IS a messed up totally out for petty tickets. They do not serve the public they just sit in TRAP areas and give silly tickets away. I'm about to come into alot of $$$ and the first thing I am going to do is get a LAWYER and STOP this!!!!!!!!!!

Whether you think the laws are petty or not, they're still laws that you're breaking. You people might want to start driving better so you won't get a "petty ticket" and quit your whining.

I'm saying my prayers tonight that the next time you drive through Dearborn Hts. they get you then you'll understand. They use every trick in the book. Sunny fridays. Places where the speed is 30 and thenn 50 in two blocks. They get you at the first block when every human being in their right mind start to accelerate for the next block 50 miles per hour. I totally HATE speeders, and red light runners and stop sigh disobeyers BUT this is a totally different thing and you'll only know what we are talking about when it happens to you. I'll pray every night you get stopped so you can have a taste of our medicne.

Why don't you tend to your petty business in NC and quit writing in this forum because you cannot read what people are writing-are you just dense? Tickets are being written at an astronomical rate (one of the highest in the country-read Newsweek)and that tells you that they are fixing the budget hole for that looser of a city.

Every city thinks they have the strictest police. Warren, Inkster, Livonia, Troy....etc.
Where does DH rank in terms of tickets per capita?

Listen, Tommy, this is a public forum. Therefore I can join in the conversation any time I see fit. Got it? Once again I'll say that if you aren't breaking the law you won't get a ticket. Wouldn't you rather the people breaking the laws fix the budget than ALL of the taxpayers? It sounds like a good solution to me.

In your other post you whined that the speed limit goes up to fifty after being 30 and people get caught accelerating just before the limit goes to fifty. Guess what? They aren't supposed to go to 50 until they reach the 50MPH sign. We've got areas like that here in my town where it goes from 25 to 45 and you better believe I go 25 UNTIL I reach the 45MPH sign. Common sense will keep you from getting those big old bad tickets. Do you have any common sense? It doesn't sound like it.

In case you had any doubt that cities all over the metro area fall into this category:

Livonia complaining about tickets:
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/livonia-mi/TA...

Redford complaining about tickets:
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/redford-mi/T4...

Warren: Ditto
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/warren-mi/TVB...

As I said every city thinks *they* have it the worst. I can get posts from around the country that say the same thing. Bottom line is- some person is bitter about a ticket and rather than blaming him/herself, chooses to attack the system.

Bottom line:do some research. D Heights ranked in the top 5 in the COUNTRY in tickets written for "traffic offenses".

Agreed. Interesting why a person would receive a ticket on a road which starts slow then increases at another section. Perhaps a bad case of anxiety with a lead foot. Simply drive the lower speed until you reach the higher limit.......it is that simple for those who get it.

Actually, it is you who will not get it. He made a valid point which you obviously failed to view or simply realized you lost the battle resulting in this retort.

I work in Dearborn and pass Ford/Evergreen DAILY for many years. Guess what, I never had a problem. Perhaps it's because I use common sense and obey the laws.

Telegraph and Ann Arbor Trail

Telegraph and Joy Rd.

Ford and Evergreen

Monroe st.

Telegraph and Ecorse ( by Aldi)

Pretty much anywhere they creepy sit behind stores and trees.

Very unfair in this economy.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
