Faulker never gets facts right. This issue isn't property owners denying permission for inspection. The issue is owners never being notified at all. The code enforcement unit was _denying_ property owners advance notifications of their warrants. Imagine getting a surprise visit by heavily armed drug agents under an unannouced building code warrant when you are a property owner who isn't a dope grower, as happened to a number of people. You'd be angry too.
It would help the public understand the need for action if there were accurate coverage of the issues involved. Faulkner would do Times-Standard readers a great service by getting details right and at least attempting to understand a issue.
