i first would like to say that all the folks that have been arrested or charged are innocent until proven guilty but if found guilty i hope they get the maximum sentence,however i do feel sorry for the brammer girl i think she was caught up in a mess and didnt know it until it was too late and hopefully she will turn the tables on her hubby and tell all she knows,and wasnt she in his famed video several years back, i just think she deserves some mercy maybe i am wrong but she dosent seem to be so bad,just a thought but again all please remember innocent until PROVEN guilty.

No she is not innocent, she has always known about the stupid crap her husband has done, but just for the record, she was not the one who was on the video and neither was he, it was the cop that used to work for White Sulphur and part-time for Ronceverte (can't remember his name) and some woman from White Sulphur...brammer was the one running the camera thought

If these so called good people were so caught up then they should have done the right thing a long time ago before it got this bad. They didn't mind spending the money while it was coming in freely and now that they have been caught it is wrong and they were just caught up in it.Too late to do the right thing now. Point is as long as they were all getting by with it things were great and now that that isn't the case everyone feels sorry for them. They all knew what they were doing when they did it and that it was wrong and that didn't stop them. I only hope if that if there was someone falsly accused that they get a fair hearing and don't pay for someone elses mistake. They all knew the consequences to doing this now it is time to pay them. I now wonder when Ellen and Jody's wife that works at Wendy's is going to be charged because they were a big part of it all. Ellen bought Christmas presents for her child with Fire Dept. money and everything else. I hope all involved who are guilty get what they deserve.

are they desperate for members. as far as charges against all of them. if your name is on the checks you wrote to someone and they have cashed them, i would say that is pretty good evidence. besides, an indictment can't be filed unless there is enough evidence to prove the quilt. just hope the jury listens real good.

It was Jody and his son, Jody was the chief and his son was a member of the fire dept. and involved in the stealing

Do you ever stop to wonder, maybe other VFD help each other out, with money they raised, remember when they come to car wrecks, house fires, and other emergencies at all hours of the night or day, that if they are down on there luck, that it would be normal to help each other out, they have been doing it for years and not only RVFD members, but people in the community, which they don't tell about, because its not so damning. I mean we are glad when they rescue us from fires and come on the scene of a car accident, does that not mean anything, and they did it with no pay, I mean from the paper these men have been members for 12 to 30 years and if it was wrong, why did'nt the accountant which they had tell them it was wrong or report them, before the city of Ronceverte wanted to take over. Remember the state did an audit and found nothing wrong, it was in the paper.
So I personally want to thank all of those men for putting out fires, saving lives, and giving dignity to those auto wreck victums, alive and deceased. THANK YOU I won't forget.

she wasnt on the video, he was on the video bending a minor over the hood of his police vehicle!

hey honest Just because they come to car wrecks and when your house is on fire is no reason to steal. I help my neighbors everyday but I dont steal from them.

I second that! But don't fret I hear the prosecuting attorney is also making deals with them! I guess its who you are, not the crime!

Stealing public funds is wrong. Don't make a damn who does it. It called felony for a reason. I am a public servant in many capacities and am embarrassed by this stupidity. I would never dream of stealing from my department and hold myself to a higher standard than this. What's the difference between the good ol boys helping out from the fire department and the ditch digger from public works stealing gas or taking stuff just laying around. NONE! The B.S. of the respond to calls is just that. I am sorry, I have been out at three in the a.m. to help granny out of the floor and feel like they never thought twice about me being in her house. Can you say that for these people? Wouldn't want them in my house.

Say what you want about the ones indited but leave their family and kids out of it please,Kids are kids get a life.

For just a thought were you involved you seem to know an awful lot about it including what the money was spent for think about it?!!!! You said it was used for the kids Christmas! Are you nosy or involed?

Well I guess I am just nosy which is why we all keep coming to this site. Isn't that why you are on here? I am definately not involved but I know one of her friends and she knew an awful lot. Point is anyone who lives in Ronceverte or even goes there alot would know everyones secrets. This is a small town and noone has secrets for very long.You must be a friend or relative to one of the thieves to be on here trying to take the heat off of them. By the way I am very damn NOSY and proud of it. If they could have controled their sticky fingers noone would have to be nosy about this subject now would they. Further more I don't consider it being nosy when I donated my hard earned money to help the fire dept. and in all actuallity I was helping all of them pay their bills. So not really nosy in this situation. I would call it pretty pissed that we all got ripped off.
