Yer right. Why don't we just do away with the election entirely? And while we're at it, we can throw out that outdated Constitution – no one pays any attention to it anyway.
Bill of Rights? Out with the Constitution. Maybe we can make a new one. We’ll take Ginsburg’s suggestion and use the one from South Africa. They’re much smarter than us anyway.
But why stop there? Maybe I’ll close my business, and go on Welfare & food stamps. They’re gonna take the money anyway, so why work?
As a matter of fact, why get out of bed in the AM?
Yup. You have the right idea. Give up on everything.
Hey man.You really need to try some St.John's wort.I already got mine.I just keep wondering whats next.

cont.... Now we have an effort by the Republicans to turn contraception into a campaign issue using the opposition to an ACA provision of providing birth control to employees, by the Catholic Church. The Komen flap and the Planned Parenthood defunding position held by the Republicans.
These positions will have an effect on women voters, who use birth control ALMOST universally.
Who is ULTIMATELY left in the Republican column ? IF they do not change and adapt to a new reality in this country, they will end up a regional party of the Old South, and part of "flyover country" in the center of the nation.
Yes...ole Mitt can win this election on economic issues, and the GOP CAN adapt to new realities....but for now, they seem to be mired in the 1960's and somewhat to the right of Barry Goldwater
If we don't get our $#it together...the Soros prostitutes will steal another election!

I would like to make a suggestion , vote for the candidate that after doing your own unbiased research , you find the candidate to be appealing , extraordinary, startling , stupendous , honorable , worthy of trust , loyal , patriotic , pristine , and well spoken. When it comes down to voting at the polls , make sure you are knowledgable and not voting based on opinions of other citizens. Lastly , your vote counts .

I go to a Baptist Church and our pastor said he's voting for Romney. He thinks Obama is a Muslim and a non-christian. I can't understand why people keep saying this stuff.
I bet if Romney suddenly switched to the Democratic ticket these same individuals would then say Romney had a cult religion and they wouldn't vote for him.
As I shake my head about your pastor,(that is sad) you are 100% correct about what would happen if Willard switched to the Democrat side.

I agree - I am over it with hearing the preachers preaching politics. But remember to not step on their constitutional rights regarding separation of church and state!

OT, I hadn't see where the pentagon and intelligence community has finally decided Iran "does not have a bomb and has decided not to build a bomb"...Have you seen this 2 or is Buchanan purely speculating?
E1, The pentagon believes that they do not and I have read this on different recent occasions and from both right and left leaning sources.
I have no earthly idea what the intellegence community REALLY thinks...as a lot of what they think is probably classified, and like you I havent read much about THEIR take. I would guess Buchanan has more access to those who would know than you or I.(and I do not know how much faith I would put in their assessment one way or another based on the "intellegence" on Iraq)
Bucanan does have a point though.......or at least I think he does.
OBVIOUSLY, I would prefer that Iran never have a WMD but if Bucanan is right and Israel has 200.....I can't really blame them for wanting one, and I see why they resent us telling them they can't.
The Soviet Union had hundreds of them aimed at US most of my life, and we had hundreds pointed at them. THAT is what prevented anyone from using one. They called it mutually assured destruction.....I suspect Iran would like some of that kind of insurance, or assurance.

Iran is an old country, a couple of centuries old. I do not think even the radical leaders in charge now would be willing to have their country turned into a cinder by launching a unilateral nuclear attack on Israel or anyone else for that matter.

Yeah, Marie and GB, etc.,
Because you move around out there in Texas and change your name so often, you will necessarily feel lost, lonely, and alienated! There is no help for it, so why don't you all (wink, wink) camp out at the gate to HIS RANCH in Crawford and ask him to sponsor an amendment allowing him back for 3rd term?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
