Akron man killed in snowy I-71 crash

who ever is morons needs to get a freakin clue, its snowy anything can happen so do yourself a favor and don't offer anything but condolences. this family has been through a huge amount of overwhelming emotions and they only need prayers to deal with this. not your negative ignorant comments.
danny i love you and im gonna miss you so much.
to the family, my prayers are with you always, just know he was an amazing person that will never be forgotten.

I feel for you guys. Luckily this guy seems to have lot who loved him. I just hope you've told him recently.

I was in the other vehicle involved in this horrible crash. My life has been changed forever. My heart goes out to the families of Dan and Jamie. After our vehicle came to a stop my husband, the driver ran down to Jamies car and stayed with her until they took us to the hospital. He cries every day wondering what he could have done differently so Dan and Jamie would have been ok. There was no where else to go. My prayers are with the Locke and French families.

Wow...why cant the whole world be like you and your husband. Most people would see this as an opportunity to sue someone. You on the otherhand are sympathetic and understand accidents happen. You are wonderful people and my thoughts and prayers are with your family as well.

i didn't really know Danny i guess i probably meat him once. but i really probably do not remember it. but Danny was family and to know that your cousin died in a car accident is the saddest thing and my condolences go out to the ones that did know him.

Danny must have been a good man with all the good comments here. he will be missed very much. hopefully my family will come trough and get out of sadness. he will be missed very much

Jamie is doing better, She recieved a Tramatic Brain injury in the accident and is recovering slowly in a rehab. she was always a very careful drive, this was a very bad mishap. we all loved Danny like our own kid, it is very sad that some people make commets about something they have no clue about. everything happens for a reason, though we dont always know why. my heart goes out to the people in the Durango for being such loving caring people. we apologize from the bottom of our hearts for any lost or situations we have put you in. please continue to pray for Jamie each day, she does not remember any of the accident nor does she remember who Danny was Maybe this is a blessing God has made.

We are friends of Danny's parents.
We are so glad to hear Jamie is doing better.

Dawn, I think about Jamie daily. I do keep her in my prayers along with Danny's family. Please take care and know this was just a horrible accident. Some day we will know what God had in mind for us all.

It's been a year since our tragic accident. I still think about it daily and pray for the Locke and French families. I don't think I will ever spend a Thanksgiving without thinking of your Daniel and Jamie. God Bless you all. Amy

Amy, yes a year has gone by, Jamie is still in a rehab recieving therapy, she is starting to remember some of the accident. we took her to ashland to meet the squad guys who cut her out and that was really touching. I go daily to be with her from my job until late in the evening hopefully we will be able to take her home before her 21st birthday (april 3) her and daniels birthdays were on the same day. weird huh. you all have a wonderful thanksgiving. To the French family....

My husband and I stopped at Jamie & Danny's accident before EMS or the Police arrived to see if we could help at all. The moments that I spent with Jamie while we waited for EMS were spent holding her hand & praying, and they have forever changed my life. I just now found your Nov '09 posts about her recovery and I cannot tell you how JOYFUL we are that she survived and is recovering. We drive past that stretch of road a few times each year on our way to visit family and we always say a prayer for Jamie and Danny and your families.

Please pass along to Jamie that she has 2 people in Indiana praying for her everyday.
