was hoping to hear from someone in w. lived there and think of the place i came to love...especially the snow, local bars and elec. cord....in that order.....lol...oh well i tried and hoped someone would answer....

i moved down here after hubby died...have dtr. and now youngest son and families here too...dtr. married a man from ky, so here we are....lol...been back to philly to see family a few times but just cant up to tioga cty...lol

sorry about your hubby, i moved from there in 82 and my sis married a brugger on broughton hollow rd. i live in roseville,oh just read a story about terry bacon bear hunting ,it was on stargazette.com hey gotta go

I live in knoxville pa about 5 miles from westfield pa and it sucks being in the boonies with all the snow :0(

well im a pa lady in my heart...here in ky it gets just cold,rainy and flurries, and weathermen always say whatever weather is after midnight....lol..just ugly all winter with no white snow on the ground..do you know norm who once worked at elec. cord? if you do, and you see him, say hi from linda who worked with him....

I've lived her most of 38 years. Could tell you most anything you would like to know. I grew up on the California Rd. Mom was a bus driver till she went to work at Trucklite.

just like to know how the meads and schmidts are...they were really good to us...also the reilly's...and how my house looks....lol..miss the place

i lived next door to the atwells. just recently took my 15 year old daughter there. they had some snow and it felt good to be back home.

One of the mead girls just past away, too young, cancer I believe. Could check the Freeprss obits. The Reily's fixed up their garage and his son (i think) works for Swartz elec. I only knew Mr. Riely from NAPA and car shows with my Dad. Rick Mead just opened a tire/meat processing place on his property. Really nice building. Most of time things are pretty quiet up there. The camp across from Stan Taft was broken into a few months ago. Man this winter has been brutal. Snowed enought to make the roads a mess for 2 weeks. Last two days have been nice, more like what it should be.

Sorry for the typos, wasn't paying attention. My daughter dropped pumpkin pie with cool whip on my keyboard a few days ago. lol I wasn't laughing then, what a mess. So now some of my keys stick.

Oh and your house if it's the one i'm thinking it still looks good from the road. Not alot of junk or anything. Been kept up.

Yes, everyday. I knew Wanda Moore worked there. No lay offs that I have heard.
