That man just can't stay out of the paper! It sounds like he is a law suit magnet. I heard that he was on the hot seat Monday with the law suit the Head's have against him. Now it looks as though things are shaping up for him to be in another with the Chief. How much money can this town afford to pay out in settlements?!

heard he threaten people he work with to keep they mouth shut about him so he won't git in any moore trouble.

when is the next meeting? i here people talking about what is gonna happen to gore and stafford then. i want to see for myself.

That chief is a number one whinner,why would anyone in their right mind put not one but two things in the paper rediculing two alderman he works for. The last one a year old and he still looking for pity and also demeaning another employee in the process. He needs to move on and let local people work in harmony in solving problems with the city. Chief you may be right in some things you talked about but you sure using poor judgement in the way you approached them.

I think Mr Gore need to get his head out of his a-- and look what is best for the town we the town not done a good job with our money when we had it coming in we just blew it Mr Gore was part of that now we not got sh-t coming in and he want to be billy bad a-- and fire the chief for helping a citzen of JC get a life Gore and tell people you were wrong if you not to hard headed

All I can say to Gore is this; What would you have done if you lived out in the county and Melba needed help in there was only one county officer and the police chief would have done according to the way Gore wanted? He would be suing the city for not allowing the officer to do their duty to serve and protect those in need. Mr Gore, you need to start using some common sense and think of others instead of yourself. I live in the county and would love to know if a city officer was driving by my house, in his personal vehicle, would stop to help me during an emergency.

I think if I was married to Melba I would hope the officer would go on lol I think Mr Leonard should be rewarded instead of fired. I think he did the right thing and I am pretty sure if MR Gore was in the same situation he wouldn't be saying that stuff about MR Leonard.

Well, I was at the meeting last night and was absolutely astounded by what I saw. The room was packed, and I mean standing room only in support of our chief.
In true bully fashion, Gore refused vote to approve the minutes from the May meeting because they weren't complete in his opinion. They weren't written word for word from the recording. But not too long afterward, he wanted to approve the budget without even looking at a copy of it! What an ass!
But one of the most ridiculous things I have ever witnessed was him reading some sappy letter, obviously written by someone else, about how great he is and how mean Larnerd is. I'm no doctor but I'd say that Gore has a severe case of narcissistic personality disorder! It's time for that guy to go! Resign Roger Gore! Resign TODAY!

I just watched the meeting on youtube. And Roger gore was funny I mean funny. His oath to the people of Gainesboro I believes says he will leave church and state apart and he wrote and said in a open meeting that is how he votes for good and himself not the people of the town that elected him. And why worry about a man that is doing a good job when he should be worried about makeing the town grow

I have one question just like Roger did in the meeting. the letter says that Roger is a truthful man and does what is right. How many times have you heard him say after august you boys can have this IM NOT RUNNING AGAIN ROGER YOU LIED AGAIN

It was every bit as good as sitting in the comforts of my own home watchin my favorite comedian on the tube. You are an idiot!
