I was born and raised in Lamesa, Texas. I know many of you, have gone to church with many of you, school, and much more. There are still a few respectable people in this small west Texas town, however, upon reading the posts on this forum I'm appalled.
Small town politics have always sickened me, but seeing them in action on this forum makes me completely and utterly ashamed to say that I am from Lamesa. I do not agree with what Rod Stringer did either. He makes our town look bad. But the obviously uneducated, ignorant posts here make none of you look any better than Rod.
Each of you need to pull your heads out of the sand, grow a pair, and make Lamesa the respectable small town it once was. Every time I come home, I see the town is becoming more dried up and pitiful. In my opinion, it is because people like yourselves who are more concerned with what other people are doing than improving themselves.
