Drug Task Force

There seems to be a lot of discussions regarding law enforcements on these forums. Due to the anonymous format, I felt this would be a perfect opportunity to discuss any drug problems or law enforcment issues with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force. I am a Detective with the aforementioned agency. We usually aren't afforded the opportunity to get out with the people and discuss things or answer questions.

So, I am "opening the door." Please talk to us about a multitude of topics. I will check this particular forum and answer any questions you might have regarding drug identification, current trends, side effects, indications of drug use, our policies, resources, or just about anything else. Feel free to inform us of anything we might need or want to know. You can even give a anonymous tip if you would like to. I don't even mind hearing complaints, which after reading severl posts, I am fully expecting. If I receive a complaint, I will investigate it and forward it to our Director and will carbon copy the response on this forum.

So, if you have any concerns at all. Please feel free. Just please be advised, I will not discuss any on-going information regarding current cases. I also will not confirm or deny any on-going investigation. Looking forward to the questions

Are you going to work? Our last one didn't. He held the title. And, that was all. Don't expect any help out of FPD. They will help only if it is to their advantage. Drug problems are worse. Court Drive, East Drive and the Taylors. These are just a few of many. Keep a check on these and if things go good, I may give you more.Good Luck.

I know the Task Force officer, and he worked very hard in these counties. There were many arrests made, and many drugs were taken off the streets. My suggestion would be maybe trying to understand what really went on before you post something on the internet, Getemall.

Check out Hickman would ya, went thru the drive thru on the corner, "Coy's" and had to lock my doors, because I had some drug'ees asking me what I needed. Needless to say, I get my cig.'s before nightfall now.
Word to the wise, "Don't make eye contact with these idiots."

You can start with Pain Management Center in Paducah.They supply Hickman with all the pills you need. Then they resell them because they have a disability that is bogus.

Work hard hell !! Fat dog worked2 hours a day. I work in next town over, I know why he is not there now.

Showdog, you don't have the facts. I didn't see any arrest he made. Maybe 2 or 3. How long did he work? I think Mayfield topped him by a long shot!

What are you talking about saying that they go by the color of their skin? Call a spade a spade! If you are selling drugs no matter what color you are then you are going to be targeted. It just so happens that most of the street level drug dealers in fulton and hickman are back....low income=drug dealing....Its just the way it is. I am far from racist but I have noticed this.

This forum was created to assist us with making drug cases. We have several Detecitives, I am one of them, who are not familiar with the area at all. We now have a full time Detective who is assigned in that area. The only thing we profile is "drug dealers." I can assure you we are here and doing our jobs. Rest easy, in a few months, you will see and hear about several arrests which should make you proud that we are ASSISTING other agencies in cleaning up your community.

There is an unfortunate fact, that the more "secret" our operations; the more it assists us in the aforementioned cases. We are asking the public about "problem" areas in your community that we can focus on. So far, the people on this site have been very helpful. Please...let's keep it cordial and focus on the topic at hand. Cleaning up the community. We are very aggressive, this will be evident soon. We are also using TOPIX in other communities.

This is also a great forum to answer any questions the public might have relating to law enforcement. One thing that the general publc doesn't know is that we are now taking as many cases as possible federal, if applicable. This means, usually more time to serve due to the lack of probation and parole.

One thing I, personally am big on, is that I believe in our judicial system. Innocent until proven guilty. If you have information that a law enforcement official is unethical, immoral, misusing his offical capacity, or participating in illegal activity: I want to know about it.

The officer and administraion, in your county, have been very professional with us and have always assisted us in many cases possible. For example: Upper management (Fulton PD and Sheriff Bobby Hopper) both requested that we conducted a detail in that county and in a three day period, we made 23 felonies drug arrests there.

Point being, let's work TOGETHER to combat crime in your community. You will be amazedand what can be accomplished. Thanks for listening.

NOBODY is innocent till proven guilty. It is the other way around in these areas. once you have been charged with something ppl automatically act like you are guilty. It is guilty till proven innocent. The judicial system is failing. It is all crooked if you have some money to pay somebody off you are better off to do it that way b/c that is all they care about.MONEY!!!

what im saying is the poor is getting the drugs from the poeple that live in the big house that sats on the hill,or from the big druge dealer.who sends them out to sale his or her drugs,and take the fall.we will never get it under control until we as the poeple work together.THAT MEANS DOING THE RIGHT THING,AND BUY THE WAY WHO DOES THE METH,AND MAKE IT WHITES.THERE IS A LAW FOR THE POOR AND THERE IS LAW FOR THE RICH//////////////

How is that a racist comment? How am I a racist?

I live on a street that has a drug problem and the cops don't even care. I know they see whats going on and everyday and night.I think they don't care cause only blacks live on this street. This has been going on for years and nothing has been done yet.
