The co-owners also ran off the American Legion Baseball team, and that is a real shame, too.

Yes it was- some people dont remember collage age players come from youth players, to remove a program for our youth to advance their skills (legion) is negative

Yes he is arrogant. I heard the coach being ran off had more to do with the coach dating the owners daughter than coaching itself.

I think you are so right HAHAH-!!!-darn shame too,coach was good and cared...I see a new coach has been hired, hope he is a patsy if he doesnt want to regret coming.

Thats an elementary reason to not ask a coach back. Whats that have to do with baseball? Isnt the daughter almost thirty years old anyway??? Someone explain....

yes, she is nearly 30, i believe in her late 20s. Cubb Stokes is a joke.Period. He's a control freak and with him always trying to control everything caused nothing but stress on last years team. The 2009 coaches were out there for the kids to further their careers in baseball and did a great job.Cubb Stokes did nothing but get in the way and in my opinion, doomed our beloved Railroaders. My message to Mr. Stokes, let the kids play and have fun.
