Another fat cat who has everything except real power over people trying to buy us. Democracy is not capitalism. Money is not the measure of intelligence. Spare me, Meg. Do the right thing, Give the $19 million of your money you want to waste on this campaign to charity and retire or start another company. But stay out of government, we learned our lesson when we voted for Arnold.

Hmm, a politician or a businesswoman? I know politicians likes to spend money and businessman like to make money. I think I will see what she has to offer, anything is better than what’s going on in California.

Kinda funny an executive from the private sector saying creating jobs is a primary issue when she becomes governor. Government doesn't create jobs. If it did, collectivist states like Cuba, North Korea, Russia in its Soviet heyday and Venezuela would be economic powerhouses. Government just doesn't get in the way of job creation in the private sector to stimulate a strong economy. For her, that should mean revising the tax structure and rules on regulation. California in 2007, had the second lowest number of full time equivalent state employees relative to the general population (only Illinois was lower). http://www.ccsce.com/PDF/Numbers-oct08-govt-e... She might find areas where staff cutting is possible, but so far she seems clueless as to where and on the issue in general. Saying she is going to fix the education system without substance is meaningless. I would like one candidate for governor to promote the idea of a single rate tax for personal and corporate income with no deductions to make the system do three things; reduce tax avoidance, make everyone have an equal financial interest in state government in proportion to their income and promote decisions to be made on personal interest - not choices influenced by tax considerations. If she can do that, then she can see the job creation she desires.

Egads, Meg. Please go away and enjoy your money. California has had it with Republicans. Perhaps you and Carly Fiorina can do something worthy with your fortunes other than make a grab for power to pad your egos? Wealthy people very rarely make good leaders. They are simply too out of touch with ordinary working people. Gavin Newsome would make an excellent governor!

Second I don't trust anyone who would sleep with his friend's wife. Third, in violation of Ca law at the time, on his 36th day in the mayors office he directed San Francisco to marry people of the same sex. I don't want a Governor who violates State law.

At first glance you would think Meg would have a good chance to win against two oddballs like Brown and Newsome. Then again, those two oddballs got elected and many people are enthralled by them. Californians deserve all this angst because they knew what they were getting when they voted them in.
