All her friends commenting on her partying are not going to help her in court.

if you were in the position of her family you would feel exactly the same as i do. so until you are put in that sitution you really shouldnt comment on things you know nothing about.

335 friends on Myspace? She must be pretty "friendly", especially after having a few drinks.
"Oh she was such a good person blah blah". No, your "friend" is the type of person who gets drunk and kills innocent people on the freeway. It should have been her who died but it's always the innocents.
So true.

jess, you should have been smarter. you were such a good kid in high school. this is going to stick for the rest of your life. i do wish you all the best. however, you now have to suffer the consequences of taking two innocent lives.

unfortunately, i do agree. better one life than two innocent lives. after knowing you for so long all I can say is, "I am disappointed in your choice!"

Please don't say Jessica was a "good" person again. That is very offensive to all of us who have had family members killed and/or maimed due to drunk drivers, as well as to those of us who truly believe and live by the law of not driving after drinking. A "good" person would not get behind the wheel of a vehicle after drinking; a "good" friend or family member would have recognized her for the alcoholic she is a long time ago (based on all the comments here and in other articles) and forced an intervention. A "good" person would recognize herself in all the prior articles and news reports about drunk drivers being murderers. A "good" person would be a designated driver, not a drunk driver. A "good" person would never allow herself to drink to the level of intoxication that Jessica did. I understand she is your friend and you would have never in your wildest dreams imagined her hurting anybody, but yet she did -- and there is NO excuse for her behavior other than the fact that she is a selfish, inconsiderate drunk. Perhaps your indignation at everybody else calling a spade a spade in this particular instance is a result of the guilt you feel for not trying to prevent this a long time ago.(Unless you truly believe that because Jessica was nice that that gave her the right to drive while drunk and everybody else on the road were not nice people which is basically what you are saying in your statements above.) I sincerely hope no one in your family is ever a victim of a "nice" drunk like Jessica. You, without a doubt, will be on the other side of the fence then when you realize there are no "nice" drunk drivers.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Sagittarius

Moodiness is never far away today, making you over-react to problems and giving you a tendency to take out your feelings on your nearest and dearest. If someone asks you what's really wrong, you'll struggle to explain and may even have to give up because you can't put it into words. It's like an itch that you can't scratch, and you don't know where it stems from or what it means.
