This is bizarre and sad. I worked with Elizabeth at the St. Paul Saints (she was Mudonna, the mascot) and she was one of the nicest people I've ever met. If she did this, then she will have to take the consequences. I still can't believe it and I wonder what changed. I guess you never really know what someone is capable of.

This is bizarre and sad. I worked with Elizabeth at the St. Paul Saints a few years ago (she was Mudonna, the mascot). She was one of the nicest people I ever met. That makes this so hard to believe. If she did it, she will have to deal with the consequences. I guess you just never know what someone is capable of. Sad for the family. Losing 3 children - 1 dead and 2 in jail.

Wow, Kristina was my friend in high school. We were inseparable for a long time. She did a few naughty things that many teenagers do but nothing evil. I am in shock.

To get back on topic, the Strib says that in the courtroom the sister winked and smiled at a woman who identified herself as their mother. The mother said she loves all her children but blames this on her lost, older son who was a sociopath. It also says that the siblings thought their brother embezzeled money from a family business and that the one brother's girlfriend kept the books for that business and convinced her boyfriend that his brother was embezzeling. How sick are these people? And that includes their mother!

Just looking at the pics of the 3 losers in question makes me hear "Dueling Banjos". These backwoods hicks should be taken out by the firepit they were found at, tied to a stake and set on fire...one by one....and let the others watch. Just an unbeleivable story of how money got in the way of family...and sensibility.....hopefully thse 3 "winners" will be put aways for a long , long time....

What century are we in? Kill him with a crossbow and burn the body in a bonfire? THAT'S what they came up with after all that planning? "That's not my brother" she tells the cops. She may as well said "we didn't do anything, especially kill my brother with a crossbow and throw him in that bonfire". I bet Elizabeth's husband couldn't have ratted her out fast enough-so he wouldn't have to wake up that beast anymore.

And, given the fact that all this planning took place, how the heck is it 2nd degree murder?

For sure, but done the way they have killed their own brother. The death penalty is way over due!! Why pay for them to rot in jail and wait for an appeal. Stephen Canavan wrote: A crime that SCREAMS for the death penalty! Wake up Minnesota.

It's my understanding that a first degree murder charge has to be handed down from a grand jury. The defendent is originally charged with 2nd degree, then the charge can be amended when they get the indightment from the grand jury.

This is horrible! How could you kill your own brother? And that comment about winking at the mother? Gave me chills! Why didn't the sister's husband say anything before? I'm sorry but if I overheard people saying they were going to kill someone, I think I would speak up!!!
