Recently Holbrook, along with his book s original Utah illustrators Martin Stensaas and Sunny Strasburg, submitted a three-minute animated short, Gingerbread Jimmi, to the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

This project is very exciting! My family and I bought the book and watched the 3 min movie trailer during Sundance 2008. It is fantastic to see wholesome entertainment coming soon and showcased at this film festival. Google Gingerbread Jimmi and see what comes up..........it is super!

I just listened to the Gingerbread Jimmi Song that was gifted to me during Sundance Film Festival 2008. It is just beautiful! I cannot believe that this little song is not on every radio station during Christmas.

Gingerbread Jimmi Author J.R. Holbrook is absolutely fabulous hosting the Sundance Film Festival After Dark 2009. I cannot believe that he is an Author, Fashion Designer and Actor. What a talent. www.festivalafterdark.blogspot.com

I just checked "Gingerbread Jimmi" out from my library and read it to my children. The response was just amazing. They read it everyday until we had to return it. They now want me to buy them the Gingerbread Jimmi Movie. When will it be out for purchase?
