It's not about a change of heart, and it isn't a ban- just some time to organize the flood of applications. Golden has done the same- as the mayor said, "...Golden is going to honor that constitutional amendment, but wants to make sure there are thoughtful, responsible rules governing their location and use."
These are smaller areas with density of student populations. Getting a fair, safe, long-term approach is much smarter than dealing with the issues after the fact, for the dispensaries and the community. |
