I had a principal who was only interested in his own backside. He NEVER backed his teachers. That is why I retired, too many thugs out there and no accountability. The social workers want to give these kids some milk and cookies. When we tried to hold the child accountable, we were told we weren't connecting to the child. BS, the parents need to take some responsibility.
