I love you Renee and even though you are just in the other room, you seem so far away. I love you.

I am a mom and step-mom who feels so awful for your pain. I cry everytime I think of what you must be going through. I hope you have incredible people surrounding you to get you through this and have a lot of faith in god. It was a horrible accident that was totally out of your control. I pray that you heal physically and emotionally and get home soon to your baby. My family from Brewer will continue to pray for you.

I'm the woman that was in that wreck. I was in a coma for a a time that felt like a year. I miss my girl Marissa dearly. Her father is such a low life he kicked me out of his house after I got out of the hospital. I think about Marissa and cry but it doesn't bring her back. She's in heaven with all the other ANGELs watching how horrible her daddy is and watching her little sister (my daughter) how wonderfully she's growing up!

i know how u feel to lose a step child some people dont understand

Im sorry but I just came across this article for the first time...Marissa was my daughter. Renee was her fathers girlfriend who picked her up for visitation that night...How could anyone ever claim to the mother of a child she is not! My sweet Marissa is now resting with the angels. Did anyone ever mention that there was a custody battle going on between Marissa's father and I because I knew that Marissa was not safe in the care of Renee and Dan?? I tried for 8 years to protect my daughter, but in the end her life was taken by the ones who I tried so hard to protect her from...This last year has been the hardest year and now to see that Renee is trying to claim to be Marissas mother is really hard to swallow.

I understand how this tears you up but the people who knew and loved Marissa know who her mothers is. You are making her proud and preserving her memory. Bonnie

we dont know any of you .to kris the samething is happening right here to get dhs in to a where there is drugs alchol to protect the children.no one has been hurt and i hope and pray it dosent. the male seems to think it something for two females to disagree and something bad happens.please take of yourself and god bless you.there is only one mother for each person.
