taylorsville has more speed and talent than any 2A team should have

enterprise bulldogs fan knew it would be a tough task for the enterprise bulldogs to defeat the taylorsville tartars for the second time. led by a sophomore quarterback better than any senior quarterback in the state and maybe even a lot of the highly touted junior ones and a wide reciever who could play in the southeastern conference, the tartars drubbed enterprise 49-7 to advance to the class 2A championship game. dominique sullivan is certainly the second coming of jason campbell, who was also a sophomore quarterback at taylorsville ten years ago and is currently the starting quarterback for the washington redskins. he's passed for just under 3,000 yards and 36 touchdowns. this is a 2A team that could beat most 3A and 4A teams and a lot of 5A teams. this much is for sure--the taylorsville tartars have more speed and talent than any 2A team should be allowed to have. the enterprise bulldogs were simply overwhelmed by a fired up taylorsville team playing on its own turf thats speed and talent far exceed its 2A ranking.

I doubt that Taylorsville could beat AAAA teams. I guess it's possible. I am not really even sure they could beat three A teams because they did have that nrief stint when they were AAA, and I don't think it worked out so well. A far as two a goes, they dominate because they practice all year around. Speed won't let Enterprise do that, so we sort of have a tough time with it. Also, not every play should involve lining it up and giving to Jack Sisson. He's talented, but there's no way a Fullback should have that many yards at the end of a season. What Enterprise needs to do is wake up and realize that you can't win Championships anymore when all you do is run the ball using plays L.J. Davis used in the fifties. We have the talent, but we need to spread the ball around more. Practice some more kids at wide reciever, work your quarter back a little harder, show the world it takes more talent to throw than it does to hand the ball to somebody else. Enterprise has a problem with playing well consistently. Remeber the year we lost to Kemper? Yeah, it was bad. I think all of this can be achieved with more practice, and a differnt kind of practice.

There is no doubt any Taylorsville Tartar football team can beat a 3A or 4A school...they do it every single year on a regular basis (notice the 15-0 state championship seasons).

I graduate from Taylorsville High School and was a member of the 2002 state championship team. Not only can the tartars beat 3A and 4A schools we have done it for number of years. We are the very few teams that play out of our classification during preseason. For the person who mention us not being a 3A school before and didnt do so well tell me when we have been a 3A school. Not in the 90's cause we dominated who ever we played including winning 40 straight games.
