This makes me sick. I wish they all would sit in jail the rest of their lifes. And this Judge needs to have his IQ checked. Once again the Justice System protecting the Crimminals. I do hope they appeal this and they have to pay for the crime they committed. The Judge was probably afraid of them also. I hope what comes around goes around for those 3 little boys ( Oh and that includes the Judge who is useless) And not doing his job and should be ashamed of himself!!

They are still watching this family because of a link to a past death of a man walking home from a party. Were they hunting that night too?

The worst part of all this is that the judge is following the law,(amendment rights) which was set up years upon years ago to control the acts of individuals. Now it turns to bite em in the ass. The individuals were cited for the treatment of the deer and now cant be tried again a second time on the same crime.

I think its time we stop allowing all the frickin loop holes in the laws that were originated to protect the inoccent people. And begin to simply throw the book at those who diobey the law. These kids took there rights and tossed them aside when they decided their life was more important than someone, or an animal.

Take their freedom for life, As that is what they deserve for taking freedom of others lives.

Okay so they did something wrong and they should pay but for the rest of there lives, come one. People that are rapping and murdering people dont even get life. They were deer not people. An as far as the judge comments and Im sure lawyer comments. They are doing there job. But I guess if all you perfect people were up there, you do so much better. The have a hard enough job and are dealing with alot from the public. Everyone decerves a fair trail and as far as I see that is what they are getting. Maybe if the state would have listened to judge this wouldnt have happened but once agian they didnt. So dont blame it on the judge, blame it on the state attorneys. It is really time for people to find something else to be hung up on. This is getting old. An just a question... What if it was your kid that did this? Yea think about it. Stop blaming the family they had nothing to do with it. These boys are old enough to make there own desions and spit what you think they are not horrible people. Thank you, A loving Cousin

Oh Yes of course a Cousin. First of all do you even have a heart? Where is your compassion for Kevin and all those deer who died a horrible, painful death. They all never asked for it. Those 'BOY'S" if they had a brain would of never done what they did to Kevin or the deer! They did the crimes but unfortunately did not have to do the time. It is wrong the system got it wrong this time. And we will never forget never ever!! Also my kids, family and friends would never do something like this why? Because it is wrong and it is against the law!! But you just keep living in your sick little world with those killers, and animal abusers. Life goes on and everyone has their own opinion you had yours now so be it!As far as blaming the family they had nothing to do with it? AHHHH they created those monsters. I fear for any person or animal in their lives. What comes around goes around. But God will have the judgement here in the end not the System.

OHHh a cousin. Of course you will stick up for those Thugs! First of all they did the crime and should of done the time! They slipped through the loopholes. What they did was wrong. First of all Murdering Kevin and getting no punishment for that and second they are all animal abusers and got away with that. It is Wrong! But God will be the one to Judge these in the end. What comes around goes around. And second of all my Family, Kids and Friends would of never done what those 3 BOYS did! They would'nt even think about something so sick. We are the ones here who have to pick up the pieces of losing Kevin. And the horrible, cruel way the deer all were killed. Do you even have a heart or compassion? I thought not neither did these boys. Next time they cause trouble you can bet they won't get off so easy and they should'nt. Glad I have a heart and compassion it's something all humanbeings should have but not your family I can see.

It is true that the D.A. did not have a decent charge. "Hunting out of season", or some such thing.

Do we have any Cruelty Laws on the books? People who are sadistic and cruel to that extreme, should be locked away.

A few months before this 700,000 hunters killed a half a million deer with bullets & arrows. Some ran for a mile after being gut shot and then died a painfull slow death from internal bleeding over several days time. Should the guys that took a poor shot and caused this suffrage that exceeded what the snowmobilers did be sent to jail for life too? I found a frozen coon in a jaw trap that starved to death. I guess I should have gotten the name off the trap so you do gooders could tar and feather the guy. The guys are jerks and cruel but they pose no threat to you or me. Put it in perspective, if you sat next to them in a movie theater, you would not be in danger. They don't deserve the death penalty for goodness sake.

During Deer Season did you ever notice those trailers overloaded with ATV's and dead deer? Greed, was always my first opinion, but now I wonder if the hunters on ATV's simply corral, herd, and slaughter these deer like Kuenzi and his killing crew did! Keep an eye out. The ATV trailers have every inch packed with dead deer. Ask them if they hunted them like the snowmobilers did. Sportmanship?

Gern: These guys may not be a threat to us, but it is up to us to protect the innocent-ie: animals against cruel and unusual torture. I thought good sportsmanship meant having good aim. Perhaps in hunting, we should make a rule that says, don't pull the trigger unless the target is on a vital organ. Besides, there is something very sadistic in getting pleasure from taking the life of one of God's creatures.

Ok, hunters, let me have it!

Oh Thank God someone with a heart. God Bless you FOrest. I agree with you totally on this! I remember a bunch of guys on ATV's chasing down and killing Buffalo and it was ok I signed a petition it was not Ok. I wish these animal abusers would get charged with a Felony if it is a pet, or wildlife any animal I wish they would be charged with a felony. It is not humane to torture any animal and let it die a slow very painful life. Anyone with a heart would have to agree with us. Take Care and thanks for your posts.

I agree that hunters should have good aim and practice shooting as much as they can and be confident in there shot. I feel most hunters do this. To say that there should be a rule to pull the trigger unless there is a clear shot to a vital organ is nieeve. There is no way to enforce a rule like this. When wardens are given mileage ristictions with there vehicles, as they are, they are not able to see the 600,000 hunters in Wisconsin that shoot every deer. The only thing we can do as ethical hunters is pass down and teach our new generation good ethics when it comes to hunting and call out the ones who break the rules. On another note, calling it sadistic to harvest an animal and saying that a long, slow, plainful death from a bad shot is rediculous. If there wasn't people harvesting these deer, there would me an immense overpopulation of deer which would cut there food and cause them to have a slower, more painful death from starvation over the treterous Wisconsin winters. Also, next time you hit a deer with your Toyota Prius, think about the chances of hitting a deer would increase without this great American tradition.
Don't you dare compare what hunters do to deer as to what these monsters did. I would never think of running over, draging, and tying these deer to trees. These guys are sick and need to go to prison for a very long time.
