Oh my God this is so heartbreaking. I am so sorry to the Tailor family, my prayers and thoughts are with you guys.

It shouldn't be too hard to spot a truck with damage. But like I said in the other article, the Police can search for the registered owner of a car with this description. All it takes it a little effort, I think they should be making a statement about that, and tell the county residents that something IS being done in this case.

My sincere condolences to the now devastated family. I work downtown and often get out late. Sat. at 11:45 pm there were gangbangers doing 50m/h donuts around the first center divide of Pacific, missing my car parked on Pacific next to the alley to the Kuumbwa by a hair each time. I took photos, which I'll gladly email to anyone interested. One licence plate is clearly visible: 2WXQ448. How about closing the liquor store at Pacific and Laurel and having police parked on that corner of Laurel/Pacific to stop the nightly street racing.

The man came here legally and followed the rules. That's good enough for me. I heard the original H&R accident report on the police scanner. The victim hit the windshield according to what the police said on Friday night; so you might want to watchout for cracked or broken glass too.
