Last August I bought a Boston Terrier from Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL. The papers all read that he came from a Barbara Graber. He has been nothing but a great dog, have not had any issues other then a parasite when I first got him. The vet said that it is normal for puppies to have parasites from their mother. Then he came down with an ear infection. Other then those minor issues he has been a healthy go lucky dog. A great companion and addition to the family.

I was lucky enough to see the love of my life, who is now 3 years old. Thank God he has been pretty healthy and lives a very happy lifestyle. I love him so much was looking to inquire on getting another Sharbo as a companion and from who else but Barbara Graber in Bloomfield. This is how I found this link. However I am happy to report I got a happy, healthy, to smart for his own good pup! Now looking for Sharbos.....but not from her :)

I am from the Bloomington area and after reading through the horrible experiences of others (and falling in love with several of these breeder's puppies at a local pet store)I decided to do some research myself. I found this information regarding the "Graber" people:
http://www.caps2point0.org/index.php...

I also found this article regarding research of puppy mills in Indiana done by channel 13:
http://www.wthr.com/global/story.asp...

I sincerely hope that more people become aware of these heartless people and the horrible things they do!

Be cautious about suggesting that any cats rounded-up from outdoors be used for adoption or you could be held criminally responsible. There's no way to know their vaccination history, if any, nor their exposure to all the deadly diseases cats carry. If a cat has contracted rabies then a vaccination against it later will do no good. It's already too late. There's also no reliable known test for rabies while keeping the animal alive. They really need to be destroyed after they are trapped. It's the only sane and sensible solution. This is precisely why all wild-harvested animals in the world, of any type intended for the pet-industry, must undergo an extended quarantine period of up to 6 months before transfer or sale of those animals to prevent just these things. Cats are no different than any other animal when harvested from the wild. You're just risking this following story happening in every shelter across the land.

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2011/09/23/2...

Adopting any cat that's been taken from outdoors is just playing Russian Roulette.

I found some surprising things about all the diseases these invasive-species vermin are now spreading throughout the USA.

These are just the diseases cats spread to humans, not counting the ones they spread to all wildlife and even other cat species. They include: Campylobacter Infection, Cat Scratch Disease, Coxiella burnetti Infection (Q fever), Cryptosporidium Infection, Dipylidium Infection (tapeworm), Hookworm Infection, Leptospira Infection, Plague, Rabies, Ringworm, Salmonella Infection, Toxocara Infection, Toxoplasma.[Centers for Disease Control, July 2010] Flea-borne Typhus and Tularemia can now also be added to that list.

I just purchased a puppy directly from the Graber's. I did not research their address to see who they were. I assumed they were reputable breeders. Was I ever so wrong. My puppy has thrown up and has diarrhea since I got her. I rushed her to my vet. She has a bad worm infection.

What excites me most, is Allen County Sheriff's Department in Indiana told me there are no legal issues for me to give all of you their current address and phone number.

I would love to join all of you in a fight to shut these people's puppy mill down!!!

The breeder is actually John Graber. The reason for the other names on your AKC papering is because John was suspended through the AKC for inability to meet regulations. This was in August of 2004 for 10 years.

Although I was given the OK to give out their contact info and address, I would still prefer you email me at an anonymous email poetic.kitten@hotmail.com. I will give you the info and all of these criminating evidence I have researched.

They currently live in New Haven, IN and used to live in Odon, IN but they were uprooted after their secret was exposed!

*If you have left your email in your post, I will be emailing you.

I AM TRYING TO LOCATE THIS CON ARTIST PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS PLEASE EMAIL ME. THIS PERSON USES MULTIPLE AILIASIS AND SELLS TO UNCLE BILLS. UNCLE BILLS CO-OPPERATES WITH THIS PERSON. I BELIEVE THEY GET EVERY DOG THEY HAVE FROM THIS PERSON!!! IT SEEMS.
I have their current address and cell number. I was told by sheriff's I can give out the info. It's John Graber and I believe Michelle since the photo on Facebook looks like her and her signature through texts is <!!! M.M.G.!!!>

I still would rather be emailed to my anonymous email at poetic.kitten@hotmail.com. They currently (as in I adopted my pup Sat- three days ago) live in New Haven, IN.

I have purcheses two puppies from Petland in Montgomery Al from these same breeders and having the same problems, I have found at least 12 Gabers at the same address with diffrent ID numbers. I have a police report I found on-line with a street address. I'm very upset at myself for not researching who the breeder was before I bought and help support these horrible people! There is no law for these amish breeders to have to follow. If anyone can send me any information they have on these people or if I can help you please let mwe know. I'm taking this pet store to court for damages and other medical related to the problems we are already having!!! feel free to contact me at akstrait@aol.com

I purchased a 3 month old papillion and pekingese mixed 3 month old puppy from uncle bills in Indianapolis of november 2009. The breeder's name is Linda J. Graber. Luckily my puppy is almost 3 years old and by far the most smartest and well behaved dog I have ever had. I did some research on the name and it turns out this "linda graber" is an amish dog breeder and an unlicensed one at that you can not even imagine all the different dog's she's bred. Boxers, shi-zus, german sheepards, boston teriers, rat terriers, cocker spaniels, and even more. I will never purchase another dog from uncle bills seeming how they condon puppy mills. But thank the good Lord above my dog is very healthy, loveable, and smart. Never met a dog quiet like her she gives hugs, knows what ready for bed means, if she wants to go outside I say tell dad and she whines until he does so, when I get out of bed I ask her ready to get up if she stands that means let me down or if she lays there she isn't ready yet. I'm so sorry to hear about some of your dogs. But I thank God for mine everyday bc she made my life complete 100%.

I purchased a soft coated wheaten terrier from Uncle Bill's in 2009 the breeder's name is Martha Wagler. He's having joint problems and hurts so bad he can barley walk. We've already put a thousand dollars into him this month. The vet cannot figure out what is wrong with him. They've given him thyroid medicine and it seems to cover up the symptoms, but after two days of being off the medicine he went down and couldn't move again. I'm not sure who to contact to complain about this and make this puppy mill breeding stop!

here is the information for graber and wagler.

http://www.caps-web.org/index.php/investigati...

they have been selling very sick and mixed-breed puppies to Pet Shops for ages. They are still doing so-- i just saw a shar-pei in Bloomington listing Wagler as the breeder. I cannot do anything because i have not bought a puppy from them, but they are basically running puppy mills.

if you have bought a puppy from either one of them, please file a complaint. the more people who come together, the less pain and suffering we will allow on our planet.

I am SO glad I have read through all of these postings about Uncle Bill's pet stores. I was just in the one in Noblesville, IN and finally found an English bulldog that I wanted. They are charging $3,000 for her which I thought was ridiculous because most breeders charge between $1,200-$3,000 for champion bloodline bulldogs. I am going to go back in and ask for the breeders name. She was such a doll and I want her so bad but I cannot believe they get there dogs from puppy mills!

I work at uncle bills. And I've always been told the same story. After happening over an article online last night I did research, and found the truth. I love animals. And treat every single one of them with compassion and care. I'm so ashamed with myself. I have a child to support, so I'm looking for an other job tomorrow. And getting the fuck out of there. And good luck shutting them down. There's no way that will happen anytime soon. Do not blaim the sales people. We're just doing our jobs and the owners make us believe untrue stories. I'm praying for all those puppies and dogs involved in the mills. I'd do anything to help them get shut down.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Pisces

There's a clash today between the past and the present. Someone wants to dwell nostalgically on the good old days but someone else is determined to forget all that and only concentrate on the here and now. The trouble is that neither side will want to concede to the other person's point of view, leading to bad feelings and upsets. If you are one of these people, try not to be too entrenched in your own opinions.
