Howard; Good Bye already. You sold evrything else down the river, what choices the new board may or may not have are a direct result of your poor decision making and that may be all they are left with as a choice. At least the New Board is honoring the promise of open communication with this meeting, not the previous Crickets and then your self serving pontifications. If it were not sold what IU13 mess is Ollie (Nilsen) going to get us in this time.

I agree. Howard, put your ideas in the pool with the 20,000 other residents of the district. You don't get to sit around the big table anymore. Why is the Lebanon Daily News quoting an outgoing board member? FYI LDN-we're tired of Howard Kramer and his cronies and we don't want to read about it in your paper.

Best of luck to the new and remaining board members. You have your work cut out for you.

Well, Howard, if you wouldn't vote for selling the Schaefferstown building, what DO you think should be done with it?

So I guess we should have fixed the problems with the building?
How in the hell can you say that you wouldn't sell the building? You and Kahl have been telling us how horrible that building is for the last 2 years.

Oh and how much more money did those change orders add to the cost of the temple of ego?
Interesting that Crabtree kicked back some of our own money to the district. Why not just lower the charges for their services? Mean while we taxpayers are paying interest on money that was given back to us. Brilliant

It saves 100K if you vote on a change order to reuse equipment from buildings that have not had a proper 780 hearing on yet. Also if the schools are to remain viable as lease properties by a Educational institution wouldn't that be a selling point for a lease agreement rather than a stripped out building as it will become with this CO approval. Again; enough damage that ties the hands of the New Board. Left with a down graded Bond Rating, a variable rate that will definetley go up and contracts for the Staff that no business would agree to (as far as verbage in the real business world) enough is enough. Don't think that the Public does not recognize what the hurdles left behind are.

True...and ya know what? The person we should thank for the cafeteria savings is the person (Mrs. Donley) in charge of food service. I guess no one bothered to consult with her BEFORE the building was designed! Noooo, you didn't have time for that. You were too busy racing to stick it to your communities and get the project underway. Maybe she could've been a help BEFORE the kitchen equipment was spec'd out. For God's sake, the plan that was awarded included fryers and, according to the Mrs. Donley, THEY DON'T EVEN MAKE FRIED FOOD ANYMORE! So, we borrowed $122,000 more for kitchen equipment than we needed. Awesome!! I wouldn't be so quick to take credit for this savings. Maybe instead you should be apologizing for such a hasty process that has caused oversights and likely a very poor design. Oh yeah, you also forgot to put tile on the walls of the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BATHROOMS! Are you kidding me?? That's OK, a simple change order for $26,000 fixed that. I guess as long as Crabtree keeps bringin those prepaid, built-into-the-fee, make-us-look-good, wink wink, tax write-off checks for the ELCO Foundation...all is forgiven. Tip of the iceberg, people, tip of the iceberg!

I am so glad we are getting a new board. I'm just afarid they're being left with a big mortgage and no money to buy food.

Remember "THE SCORCHED EARTH AT ELCO" which describes Kramer, Good and Simmermon voting for the new school and their rush to put the construction contract in place before they are voted out of office. We gave them a vote of no-confidence and voted them out of office, but it was to late, they selfishly stamped (APPROVED) on the construction plans.
Well get ready "THE PERFECT STORM LOOMS AT ELCO" is beginning to form. The dark storm clouds are forming in the district. The school districts inability to lock in low long-term fixed interest rates because of its debt to equity ratio will result in higher taxes in the coming years. The year 2012 is approaching fast. The district will start increasing the payment to the under-funded Teacher's Pension Fund. This payment could exceed 1 million dollars a year for the next 20 years, depending on market conditions. The need to repay the EIT Bureau overpayment. Teacher's contracts come up for review within the next 18 months. The unexpected expense to replace the roof at the high school.
Is there anything else the administrtion and board is not telling us?

Maybe Kotex needs more office space so that Haytch K-yah can offer training and seminars on how to hack into private email accounts AND GET CAUGHT. The Schaefferstown Pooper Troopers Association could lease some office space.

Haytch K-yah could use the stage for rehearsals and public performances of his variety act.

Live on the Howard Kramer stage its The Howard Kramer Show

Starring - HOW WARD KRA MERrrr
Directed by HOW WARD KRA MERrrr
Written and Produced by HOW WARD KRA MERrrr

With Special Guest appearances

From Zip Code 17315 - Evil 2 Million Dollar Knievel
From Romper Room - Miss Marsha
From Sesame Street – Mr. Hooper the Grocer
And Mike Brady the Architect

In case you haven’t heard Haytch your show has been cancelled.
The audience has grown tired of your signature song and dance routine and your attempts at what you think are humor.

It would BE WISE, HOWARD to just take your bow and exit stage left and take your obese ego with you.

It's been circulating for weeks, that the myerstown building will be the new home of section 8 housing.

Everybody had better start putting in lighting and security systems, soon. You think crime was bad in town, before, just wait,,,,,,,,,,things are gonna get really interesting, shortly.

Can anybody verify this?

I would like to thank all 4 people who voted for Howard Kramer in the election. Your 4 people seem to be the majority he was talking about all along. 99.97 % of the population did not vote for him. I think he is an arrogant piece of crap whose bad decisions and lack of respect for the children, ELCO and the community will be felt for MANY years to come. We can only hope he live the rest of his life in shame for what he has done to this district.

"If I would still be on the board, I would not vote in favor of selling the Schaefferstown building," outgoing member Howard Kramer said.

Hey Howard when you voted to close (vacate) the schools last year, what did you plan on doing with them?

Is there any chance your company, Vertex Internet could buy it and use it as a place where employees could unlawfully log in to private email accounts to monitor what was being said about you?

Residents of ELCO:

Please don't forget the meeting on Nov. 19 @ 6:00 in the evening held in the High School auditorium when our super-cool superintendent lets us in on his brilliant plans for our two fine schools, which he is dying to close. I personally can't wait to hear what our illustrious group of idiots (the former school board, except for Ray) has in mind for this important part of our history. True, some of the board and of course Nilsen were not raised here and have no feelings for our past--but several of them are from here and still voted to build. Anyway, don't forget the meeting on the 19th. Should be interesting.

Actually the building is going to be used to house the Gitmo detainees before going to trial in NYC. The agreements were signed two weeks ago.

The residents of Eastern Lebanon County should just stop breeding. Your unending broods are the cause of all of this inflated cost! I have to pay for your minions to attend school. You could at least show some gratitude by allowing all of these spawn to attend a modern school. Maybe your multitude of offspring would end up a bit better off than yourselves. We know what happens when students attend the schools that already exist. They turn into you lot! Please, PLEASE, CHANGE! For the sake of all that is holy, I ask that we educate the children at new schools with new facilities. Let's end this vicious cycle of stupidity.
