First Full Day Of Fall Brings "Clean-up" Of Drug Suspects

I can't beleive presciption drugs are now being charged like Herion and Coke. I had Vicoden for an after surgery pain killer and yuk, it didn't do anything for me. maybe I should have used the whole bottle, no thanks!

At least one of the people on your list has already been let go because of a mix up in paperwork where he should not have been arrested. I would hope that wfmz will remove that name and any other person's who is innocent. In this day and age of the internet, you have just sentenced this person as guilty if you do not go back and verify your reporting and remove the names of anyone not being charged. To be charged mistakenly is horrible, but to report and not correct is even more of a travisty of justice for the innocent.

Once again my neighbor has dodged the bullet. I hope and pray that he's one of the seven not listed. Perhaps Irish Girl didn't get much relief from her pain but bear in mind people are using these drugs in high quantities without the pain offset. Also, they are out there on our roads daily. I had morphine after a serious surgery and I swear I saw the numbers dripping off the wall. The illegal use of these drugs, the users, and the pushers are a danger to all of us. Thank you to the dedicated law enforcement staff fighting this losing battle.

Actually, I'm in Muhlenberg Township, to the north of Reading. Drugs are everywhere. I encourage you to go to your local police department. Six of the neighbors on my street have gone and hopefully one of these days things will return to normal. All the bleeding hearts who think drugs are fine need to wake up and see the way the activity affects the good people in the neighborhoods.

After my surgery (7 wks in St Puke's) I had to learn to walk again. I had a HUGE open infected wound on my stomach for over a year. One night I was in such pain and couldn't sleep. I took 10mg ambien, 2ml of liquid morphine and 2 tylenol PM. I don't remember but my husband said I sat up in bed and start seizing and almost fell off the bed. I couldn't remember anything. I no longer mix any medicine. I live with the pain cuz I'm afraid of addiction to the vicoden, morphine, oxycotin I was prescribed and there were a lot more on the list. Xanex, Ativan, Wellbutrin. Dr will write write and write. So I finally said I'm done. Heath Ledger's death scared me.

Oh I had a neighbor like that, people coming over all the time different hours of the night. These loud mufflers pull up and 2-5 minutes later - gone. I called the police. I don't know what happened, they still live there but the traffic has stopped.

But during this time our neighbors son got hit by a car that fled the scene. Gee I wonder if it had anything to do with stopping by for a pick me up. Thankfully the boy is ok.

Are all these people going to jail because the trials just ended? Why show pictures? I bet half these people don't do time because the cops screwed something up yet this tiny little hack of a tv station will put their pictures up.

These people had the opportunity to turn and snitch on "higher ups" They didn't, now they go to jail. Otherwise they would have been off scott free.

I was on morphine in the hospital when I broke my femur. I hated the stuff! Thankfully my doctor was very careful with the pain medication management. No chance I was going to get addicted under his care!

So Just put yourself in there shoes. Would you rather be in jail for a little bit or would you rather have you or your family members being hurt by "higher ups" you snitched on?

how can you call all of them low life loosers?? Half of them look like a bunch of innocent young kids! That's exactly what we need in this society people like you who pass judgement, you really set a good example yourself.

All of these "dealers" are small potatoes. Maybe if the cameras were not on the cops could have quietly taken them and flipped them to get bigger fish. That won't happen now with their pictures everywhere. Thanks wfmz for nothing.

Finally, It was time that the authorities target other people. If you see there was just 1 hispanic. People always blamed the hispanics for the criminal activity that Berks County is going true. It is refreshing seign other than hispanics in this rades....Thank GOD!!!Hope the authorities keep tracking the criminals and drug dealers and not just the LATINO Comunity....
