I have read the controversy here and I think that what should be said will be said here and now...let bygones be bygones. Whatever has happened, I feel that it should be mended and forgiven and done with.... Chris...this one is for you. I met Diane at the book signing at the St Croix Lutheran high school Sat Nov. 8. She played up your poems in Called to Serve as well as giving me a card with Scars and Stripes on it. I thank you for believing in the veterans and saying what needs to be said. Most of all, I thank you for giving Diane that influence to be able to finish what she started, namely, getting Called to Serve published. I am sending this letter on to your publisher as well. From the bottom of this veteran's heart, with tomorrow being veteran's Day, thank you many times over. Good luck in the future! Sincerely, Jason McGiven Army First Class

It was nice meeting with Jason as it is meeting everyone. Oh if only in life, we can take back those scenes and replay them, editing out the muck that muddles our vision. Chris Swanson and I...it was a roller coaster, to say the least. I had my ideas and he had his. I wanted to work WITH him and he wanted a speed different from mine. Needless to say, I admire what he did and the path he has chosen. I wish Chris luck...and I will be watching from the sidelines to see how far he can take it.

Chris Swanson...if anyone out there buys his book, would you PLEASE use it for a firestarter for the wood stove? I cannot believe the unmitigated audacity that he displayed by going to the Luck library and reaming Diane out in front of everyone. REAL CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL there, Swanson...get yourself a lobotomy or something, you reek like rotten fish! The name of that book of his is Celebrity Sins. Don't waste your money, give it to the poor instead, not poor Swanson, either!

to all who read this: Diane Ganzer is NOT, nor has she ever been, Christopher Swanson's AGENT/MANAGER! It was a title HE gave to her, NOT One she asked for...the work she did for him she did so willingly, with no thought of repayment or reward. It was done out of the goodness of her heart---quite simply, her way of being unselfish. When he took complete advantage of her, much like a pimp who abuses his whores, she then struck back, but only when he backed her in a corner so tight, she felt trapped. Chris is misrepresenting her to himself, I am here to SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT! thank you.

For those of you who think you know Diane think again .She is a fake! Try asking her about a letters she wrote claiming they were from her ex and threating the life of Chris Swanson. Try asking her about a check she wrote stolen from a company she worked for try asking her about the warrant out for her arrest in WI. The women is crazy. She has many names she goes by and many different faces. Carma will prevail.

Just to let everyone know...Diane Ganzer's newest book will be out before Christmas. Titled, "Walking in God's Shadow," it is about addiction recovery using equine therapy. She already has an appearance slated for the Luck Library, with an invitation by Jill Glover, director. Let's hope that any unexpected appearances by certain residents of that town are kept to a minimum. I am sure Mr Christopher Swanson will be busy on that day! Chris, if you do decide to appear, unless it's with words of praise...keep your comments to yourself!

Just to let everyone know: I apologize for the many defamatory comments posted here regarding the relations (pun intended)between Christopher Swanson and myself. What began as an agreeable working relationship has instead become one full of insecurities, doubt, aggravation, frustration, lies and more. Suffice it to say, Christopher Swanson will be going his own way, making his own way in the writing world and not hanging on anyone's coattails except his own. I wish him all the best in the future as he pursues his "writing career." I tried to help him out initially. I was full of good intentions and repeatedly warned him that I would push him hard to get him to where he attained. I have been there before, I know what is expected and how to go about it. Instead of gratitude, he felt as though I were controlling him, taking over. He who had asked me to set up a website and a blogsite and administer it, now did a 180 and told me, quite loudly! to not add anything to it, as if I was out to sabotage it. I had only good intentions to see him ACHIEVE success, instead, he accused me of trying to derail him. What I brought up, I then began to tear down. I put his name on a book whose work was contributed by him, hoping that the increased scrutiny would encourage readers to want to know more about him. This was met by Chris denying having anything to do with that book once it hit print. Despite the many, many great reviews we received...yes WE! he wanted very little to do with it. It became all about him and Celebrity Sins, not Called to Serve. Well, I am happy to report that Called to Serve, with his poems, has reached a pinnacle of success in that those books are halfway around the world and going under the Christmas tree of many children who otherwise would go without a gift at Christmas through the Toys for Tots program initiated by the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Yes, Chris, I did what I set out to do, as I told you, I always get what I want. You chose to not be a part of this wonderful opportunity. You chose to sit on your laurels and pout that you aren't the big "superstar" that you wanted to be. I knew what it would have taken and you refused. I am sorry that what we could have had got blown up, but it was YOUR choosing...you had to have all the power and control. Now you have little or nothing. Thank you also for admitting that you only used me to get published. Was it worth all the pain that we have been through the last six weeks? In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." I have validated myself, I will move forward, I will make a name for myself. Thank you for allowing me to see that I do NOT need someone else to make me feel secure, I can do it all by myself. If there is a lesson learned here, it is that. I am sorry that your dreams have imploded on you, you who said that 2008 was your year. What about 2009? 2010? Only you can steer your ship, Chris. But it will be you and not me. In the writing world, many now know you and will have little to do with someone who's idea of success is waiting for his ship to come in. Chris, ya gotta row out to meet it.

I tried to tell you that. It fell on deaf ears. In the beginning, I really and truly believed in what you could have been...but you resisted at every turn. How many book signings did you turn down? The very ones that you turned down, I had great success at. Success is what you reach UP for and YANK down, and damn anyone who stands in your way! Keep in mind also, that it was YOU who pursued me in the beginning, saying that you were interested in me and not just about books either. It sounded so sweet, until it began to dawn on me that it really WAS the book, for you changed as soon as you held it in your hands, giving yourself an ulcer when shipment was delayed by a week....what was THAT all about?? The words of endearment, the impulsive phone calls on your end, all quit. For those who know Christopher Swanson, save all of your comments that are derogatory. I do not wish to hear them, instead, focus on Chris, maybe give him that boost up. he's going to need it. Chris, I will be looking for you at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com . I will watch with curiosity as to which direction your journey goes. Though you have a four year restraint against me, guarantee that when December 1, 2012 comes around, so will I. I will not go away like a virus in the night. In the words of Fleetwood Mac, from "Silver Springs," "the sound of my voice, it will haunt you." I will also NOT be deterred, Wisconsin is a big state and I plan on returning often. Until then....... Have a good life.

the first part of this missive was cancelled out, but it said that I am no longer dealing with Christopher Swanson, that I am going my way and he his. I apologize to one and all who have had to see our life dragged out in the world and put on display. What began as a wonderful partnership instead spiraled into a hellish dervish ...I had great intentions that imploded. Suffice it to say, the ideas that I had to make something of him, he turned down. He felt that I was controlling him when in fact I knew how to achieve what it was that he wanted. So what I had built up, I then took down. It is my hope that he can move forward in the future. But it needs to be on his own, the lessons that I learned from the three months with Chris were this: I can do it all by myself, I don't need anyone to make me feel secure. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." So, Chris, thank you for that, thank you for showing me that I can do it on my own ,just as now you must do it on your own. The lifestyles of the rich and famous and the not so rich, right?

This was in Ruben Rosario's column 12/28/08 about Diane Ganzer's newest book, "Walking in God's Shadow." This book will go far. It details the story of not only Changing Gaits, but Diane's history with Christopher Swanson and how she managed to climb back to the top after being knocked down. This book is making the waves needed to bring others the peace they need in their lives, and to help them resurface from the endless pit their lives have become. GUY KAUFMAN AND SHADOW Kaufman, of St. Paul, was deep into alcoholism and a life without much purpose or direction. And then he rode Shadow, a horse that changed his outlook and prodded him into sobriety. Kaufman, in turn, saved Shadow's life when the horse nearly strangled on a rope. Their encounter led to Changing Gaits, a 4-year-old faith-based program in Brook Park, Minn., that uses equine-assisted therapy to help substance abusers, juvenile offenders and developmentally disabled adults. "Walking in God's Shadow,'' a book about Kaufman, the horse and the program, hit stores across the country last week. "The definition of insanity is doing things over and over again and expecting different results,'' Kaufman said, referring to drug abuse or any self-destructive behavior. "With these horses here, it's about helping people bring out issues from the dark into the light."

Just heard that Called to Serve is being read by General Nash....if this is true...WONDERFUL! Get the kudos from the highest people who can do this book justice. The Marine Corps has a "Commandant's Reading List" as well, of which Called to Serve is being considered for that honor as well. Go for it, Diane, keep raising the bar higher, you deserve every good thing!!! Chris Swanson, once again has proved himself unworthy by having his name removed from the work that Diane so generously gave him.....why???If he was smart, he would have stayed by her side instead of demanding that what he did was worth millions. What he did would not have seen the light of day if not for Diane! Good thing they have parted ways, he was an anvil around her neck anyway!!! If anything is mentioned about so called "copyright issues," Diane owes it all.

Just heard what is happening to Diane Ganzer and the charges Chris Swanson has drummed up against in: namely violation of the order he put on HER after it was HE who made a scene at the Luck Library Nov 15th. Chris, I heard you say, because I was there with my mom and dad and kids, that you would not stop until you "brought her down, so she had better hire herself a good attorney." well, you seem to be doing just that. Except that you had witnesses when you made that threat! It ought to be have been DIANE who got the order against Chris. Never mind, justice will prevail. I wish all good for Diane, and I know she will be around to do her book appearances. Chris, you maybe should watch yourself, she just may get an attorney and sue you for distress and false claims!

You may have noticed that most of the comments are from Diane herself. Let me shed a little light on the situation....Diane has a posted lie after lie about Chris and those who know Chris know they are lies. She even said that he died today. You are not hurting anyone Diane, your just proving you everyone else that you are not right in the head. That should look good in court when you have to go AGAIN because of orders of protection AGAINST you!
