Arrested? Why? If I understand our New Government Imperative correctly, the proper response should have been to take them to the Town Clerk, give them instant Federal and State citizenship, sign them up for full welfare benefits, full food stamps, full housing allowance, full transportation vouchers, full health insurance and citizenship invitations to all their relatives for five generations.

This would prove that Mr. Obama was telling the truth that he would never extend benefits to illegal immigrants.

Their employer should be arrested and have their assets taken under the RICO laws for running a on going criminal enterprise. Just another case of yuppie sum labor racketeers at work exploiting labor.

What on earth were they arrestd for? Camping? Being suspicious? Or because Officer Hebert 'determined' they were Mexican? How did he determine that? Why did he feel he needed to? Not much reporting here, why is a good question to cover after who and what. After learning they were subcontractors why continue the 'investigation'? They where profiled, it's the way police do their jobs which they are hired to do. They don't watch nursing homes for drug dealers, they watch people more likely to be involved in such a thing.

they don't run radar on deadend dirt roads or DUI check points at 10am in a subdivision, they go where the action is.

Only criminals get annoyed when the police do their jobs, what kind of crime you into, illegal worker labor racketeer ?

How else do they find illegals unless they racially profile people ? first tip is unable to speak emglish or an accent

what are you one of those upper middle class wealthy people far removed from contract with the police so have no clue they target all sorts of people by looks.

using your logic the people who weigh trucks are profiling truckers and picking on logging & dump trucks by stopping them to weigh them at roadside wide spots and letting those people in those brown UPS trailer trucks slide

ok cop stopped one person fitting this profile so will now stop 10 people not fitting the profile so he/she isn't accused of profiling people or picking on people.

cops did it in weigh stations, not to look like they where picking on truckers by nailing the hell out of everyone they stopped, they made things fair and stopped trucks at random so they wouldn't have anything close to a 100% success rate at removing idiots from the road and or their junk trucks. They wasted most of their shift stopping trucks not likely to have any violations so their kill rate was about 25% instead of profiling the bad ones and having close to a 100% kill rate. Ok UPS pull it over and go threw the motions, no violations, next.

all people whining like you do will end up turning into is cops checking everyone for immigration status to make things fair and wasting time lowering their productively.

To make it clear, I support profiling people that look hispanic to find the illegals amoung them. Why handcuff the police and make their job harder and have them waste time trying to make it look PC.

Sure there are illegal white & black people, harder to find them when most are legal, so fish where the fishing is good and it's more likely to catch something.

They profile people by age daily, don't see car loads of grey hairs with their hands on the hood while the cops get the drug dog to check out the car.

cops looking to find bad guys go to ghetto areas, not a 55 an older wealthy retirement community, they profile people to do their jobs.

It is illegal to cut down trees in a National Forest without a permit AND you are only allowed to camp in specific areas.
