Water Bills Going Up Up Up

Rahm-bo Emanuel to raise water rates 25% this year and 15% over each of the next 4 years.Next oxygen will be the target for this crackpot.This means a $100.00 a month bill will be $185.00,in 5 years.A $150.00 bill will be almost $300.00.Bend over Franklin Parkers Rahm-bos putting on the latex glove!!And he's prepping us for a Lake Michigan style , water ennema.

I'm no fan of Pedersen. But how could he or anyone else have been able to stop this increase?? This is all on Rham.. We have law's against what he's doing.. I agree this is not a village problem it is a city problem and I feel the village is handling it the best they can.

I've noticed this too. I personally have not been stopped yet but I know at least 3 people who were stopped for absolutely no reason. The cops don't even give an excuse for stopping someone anymore, they just pull you over randomly and hope you are drunk or high so they can add another point to their scoreboard. It's really gotten ridiculous. "Protect and Serve" in FP has become "Harass and Intimidate" under Paiderson.

If you are not doing wrong what are you worried about them doing their job?

Did you guys not notice that the residential water bills in MP did not go up,(unlike the commercial bills). All the surrounding towns including Chgo their bills went up! You guys are just never happy! Can't give any credit to the Mayor!

The up side is ANY increase is an increase the adult bookstore on 15th ave will have to pay.
Which eventually means they'll be charging its customers more to get inside.
And that means less customers will go inside.
Its the beginning of the end.
And unlike the CTA they won't get any bailouts when they lose customers.
So this could be a good thing.
