Metra train kills pedestrian near Franklin Park
A Metra train struck and killed a pedestrian Friday near Franklin Park , causing delays along the Milwaukee District West line to Elgin, authorities said.

We live where this all happened and we asked a passerby what happened and he said a pedestrian was hit by a train but was still alive and then the next day we checked the internet and seen that he had passed away. I am so sad over this and it has haunted me every since and those flashing lights are imbedded in my mind. I have been reading some of the comments on another site and please tell me this was not a suicide. Such a young boy and so much to live for. My heart goes out to his family and friends. God be with you and comfort you.

How can you make such a stupid comment? You don't even know what happened. Trains can't stop on a dime. There is alot of force behind them and I can assure you that not one of those conductors ever want to hit someone. If you think they sleep well at night after something like this you are sadly mistaken. |
