Go ask the owner of PSI if he can supply man power to that dept on a budget of $80,000 a year. That's about all he'll get from the town to run it. There is no way. Lincolnwood can do it cause they generate revenue in their town. The only thing Stone Park generates is crooked politians who are only out for themselves.

Don't forget part of the day they shop at Jewel or Super Low Foods, then they have to cook it and eat it like a man.
Tom Thomson already has two jobs with the village he is in for about $100,000.00 a year. Who fights for his rise - his board and the mayor.
What is wrong with that picture?

The people in Franklin Park are not as educated as Napervill residents, I say that all the time if we were in Elmhurst, LaGrange, Naperville the people would not let this happen. They would be demanding answers, why are we not asking any questions?

A majority of the people on this message board do not even vote. Most of them heard rumors from one of their moron friends and believe it as fact. That is the problem with FP. The residents have nothing better to do. There is nothing wrong with Pedersen, he WILL deliver as promised.

You know I agree with you ,often, but not as educated???That may be true, but you forgot to add that the towns you mentioned have alot more tax money to play with.To them $8.7 million is like $8.70 to us.They have it ,we don't.

I am not saying the people of Franklin Park are not smart they just except what they are told, and do not research the facts. Elmhurst, Naperville etc. are populated with doctors, lawyers, CEO's and other white collar professions, these people do not accept nonsense told to them.
And that is what we need to start to do, attend the board meetings, call the mayor with questions, vote in an election, all elections - school board, library, park district, all of these jobs make up a good village and need the imput of the people living in the village. Franklin Park is a diversified and blue collar community - many of the people just go along with what is told to them as they have no long term interest in the community.

you are correct many residents are involve in what
going on in our town the reason is before any
major decesion are made the residents are involve
there thoughts fist example the town wanted to
install a water park we where all informed by a
phone call from our village explaining the
cost and where the money would come from an where
it would be built so things are done with the
residents i have friends in your town i do not
live there but words get out its best known for
years for the jungle we read where your mayor
support is eye sore from my friends that would
be gone here good luck
