The Macon County Sheriffs' Office needs to send out a BOLO (be on lookout) for this person. I do not think that this information has been passed onto surrounding counties.(yet it is said that he is beleived that he is still in Western NC.) Hello.. everyone doesn't read the Asheville Citizen or Topix. Lets get this face out there so the community can help catch this man!

I'd say its been done. Agencies send BOLOs to surrounding counties all the time. |

WE NEED REFORM FOR CHILD MOLESTERS!
NO BOND....NO NOTHING..... |
|
I work at a 911 center within 30 miles of Macon County. I have worked the entire week and have yet to know anything about this. I will pass it along to my co-workers and officers today. Maybe other counties were notified, and maybe we were over-looked?, but I will make sure that our center is aware when I get to work.. I hope that we were missed in error and everyone else received theirs... I would hate to think that we helped another one slip through the cracks. It appears that he already hit a lucky streak when he was given the 1st oppertunity to bond out.

Maybe so. They generally send out an SR50 when something like this happens. I'll check too. Might want to call Macon tomorrow and have them send you a BOLO on DCI so that you can send it to your officers. |
|
Thanks "wnc", I will call in the am. and ask them to send.. You sound as if you are familiar with law enforcement as well.?.

Oh..and you're welcome. :)

kinda obvious :0) hope that I didnt step on your toes with the first BOLO comment. Topix isnt a big deal here, and I dont know alot of people from my area that even come here to read the post, little on, do and actual post.. I just think that it's important to get the information out a.s.a.p when you have someone with the flight/flee syndrome. (obvious there is no fight to him) Was you aware of a BOLO given in ref to same in your area.. Maybe I missed it, Maybe my partner missed it.. It could be OUR error :0(

No problem whatsoever. We have over 1000 calls for service a day. It could have been overlooked. I'll check tomorrow. If we dont have it, I'll send Macon a message and ask for the bolo and send it out too. I think its important to get this piece of crap off the streets. I fully agree with you about the importance of letting the LEO's know about this stuff. A bolo is the best way to give them the info without calling them on the radio. I'm all about a quiet radio. Lol.. |

Woops..I misspoke. We take over 1000 calls per day. We probably have a hundred or more calls for service a day. Seems like more though.:) In your county, do you just have one or two working at a time?
|
For shame. Some people can not help being retarded. Look the word up in the dictionary. He looks evil would be more like it. I know, most people say retarded just as a figure of speech. I used to say when I talked on the CB that I had Alzeimers but someone told me that it offended some people, so I replaced it with 'I gots CRS'. |

we work 2 per shift, 12 hr shifts
|
|
|
surely with your call volume you have more than 2 per shift? my call volume isnt even 1/2 of that.. 1/3 of that:0) And I cant imagine hundred plus service calls for the officers.. Is the center Fire EMS and Law?

That would be tough. We have 3-6 people (usually 4-5 though) for 8 hours. We alternate days and eves and have a set permanent mids shift. Your schedule must be killer. Btw- my email is on my profile. Feel free to drop me a line anytime. |
