The increase of trash on our roads and highways is out of control. Not even two years ago, did our beautiful town look this bad. Is it because of the visitors, or new people that have moved in? I only ask, because you didn't see the trash on our roads 10 years ago. I just can't see anyone from Franklin, hurting their own home town. We clean it up one week and two days later the trash is back. It is a $1,200 fine in Georgia, not sure how much here. If I was passing though Franklin for the first time right now! I could not say, "It is pretty." Not with all this mess. Who and why are these people doing this to our town? I want them to stop. Please, everyone from Franklin, if you see anyone throwing anything out report them. Get their plate number! We can stop some of them! Help, to save our land, before it is to late. This is our home.

The trash is bad. Too many pick-up trucks with trash blowing out of the back. The prisoners in orange jumpsuits used to pick it up.

The roadside clutter does seem to be worse this summer. The roadside mowing and flower beds are well done though.

Ha Ha my evil plan is working. I litter all over the highway in order to scare off the tourists thus, starving local businesses into bankrupcy. I will continue on my evil plan unless your pay me 100 Million Dollars.

Hah! Your plan might be backfiring, Dr Evil. You might be HELPING us taxpayers who do not own tourist venues.

If the tourists stay away, we taxpayers won't have to spend so much on upkeep of roads, water, and law enforcement!

LOL! We can work together to keep those trashy tourists away, keep our taxes lower, and try to get some real jobs here rather than slinging hash, making up motel beds, and glorifying the arrogant Drake christians!
