This is one of the worst places we have had our kids birthday parties. We had my daughter's 5th b'day party here last night. The customer service was awful. We had to INCREASE the number of pizzas ordered by 2, they would have none of it. They said that they need a 24 hour notice - I was stunned - I was asking for more pizzas, not less. And it is for a pizza and which pizza place will not want to sell a customer more pizzas? They would not reason with me. Finally, I had to find out who supplied them pizzas, ordered the extra ones directly and had to pay him separately.
The party started late by 10 minutes - no apologies nothing. But 15 min before the time was up, they reminded us that staying extra would cost us 30 min. When it was time to cut the cake, they told us that they would not carry the cake to my daughter - either I had to bring my daughter to the cake or carry the cake myself to where my daughter was seated.
Stay away from this place. We have conducted/attended number of parties at Pump it Up in Shrewsbury, MA and the service there is excellent.

Hi,

I had similar experience with the customer service. They don't great the customers at all, they are just standing there without one word or a welcoming smile on their face. I felt like an intruder. The play room was sickeningly hot.

I've held two birthday parties there this past year. One for my 9 yr old, and the other was a joint party for my 13 yr old and her friend. I broke my toe on the inflatable slide in the second room at the first party and then one of my daughter's friends broker her arm at the second party. Both times, nobody came over to check and make sure that we were alright.

A friend of mine had his daughter's party there. He wasn't able to get back in touch in time, due to traveling for business, to confirm how many people were going to be there for the party. Because he didn't call back, they wouldn't allow him to order pizza's because they wouldn't have it in time for the party.

They're totally ridiculous when it comes to keeping all food to only what they provide. I understand that most of the employees are teenagers, but they need to remember that while they're working a birthday party, they shouldn't be talking to the other employees, they're there to assist the party.

Thanks for the reviews, I was thinking of suggesting this place for my niece's birthday but maybe I won't.
