Green High School Marching Band ''1''

The band traveled to State Marching Band Finals at Dublin Ohio yesterday and received a ''1'',SUPERIOR rating. Very few class C bands receive this rating. Congratulations to Mr. Edwards and the band! We are proud of you.

They are going to Nationals this weekend just to watch so they can be ready for next year.

Yes Indianapolis here they come.Long trip.Hope they enjoy the trip.Green Band is doing an excellent job,but then again they always have....Good job..

Yea I agree they are a good band but how can u be a band for a school when they wont even go to the games and play for the team. They never go to the games with the school, maybe if the team had more school spirit and a band that cared about them they would play better...THEY SHOULD BE MADE TO BE AT THE GAMES!!!

They go when they are able they can not get muddy on Friday night and go to competition Sat. in a dirty uniform!

and them uniforms are not cheap you know....lol

I agree.The band has attended football games,I have seen them there.But do the football players go to the band competitions.So dont bash the band Greener pastures.They are the only ones that do any good at anything.and they do represent Green so you need to back off.When all the football players ect.start going to the bands fuctions then you have the right to down them.Until then be proud of what they accomplice.

i think that we should support them all no matter what we are suppose to be supporting them

Thanks to everyone for supporting the band! I was just proud of each and every band member and wanted to let the communtiy know how well they did at State. It is true that the band has not been at all the home football games this year. The director was gone for a couple of weeks due to paternity leave (his wife gave birth to their first child) and the flu made its rounds. The band does support and cheer for the football team, a couple band members even play on the team. At the games I attended this year the band was cheering the loudest making me ask, "Where is everyone elses school spirit?

I agree .... Green needs A LOT more school spirit, maybe we can work on that for next year.....Maybe if we all come out and support them they will do better ....LORD I HOPE SO!!!!

SO proud of our kids!!! They did very well. CONGRATS!!!!!! You earned it guys!!!!

ok one. we do go to the games just not away but the only away games we go to is east and symmes valley and the reason why we don't go to the other away games is bcuz that edward just started a new family and he wants to be there with them!!! so BACK OFF!!! we're doing our best!!!
