Cops laid off, Public Safety at risk

Is it true two full time officers got laid off? Public safety will be at risk. Bring back the strength of the force or suffer from criminal activity.

Hopefully Petrie, but assuming it wasnt him at least now he will likely have to get off his ass and patrol and answer calls like he was hired to do. A take home car and a day time officer to cover so he doesnt have to do policework? Thats how you end up with lay offs. Breaks my heart. Not. Karmas a bitch, and so is trying to raise a family on 20 bucks an hour, eh Ron? The whole department should be disbanded. Theyre the laughing stock of law enforcement and a neverending black eye for any upstanding cops that are out there. Wherever the hell they are.

Lets take a guy who was hospitalized for a mental breakdown and substance abuse and put him back on the street. With a gun. Swift.
Does the board not know? Not care? Have they considered the liability issues? Then again, it's Frakfort so I wouldn't expect them to do the right thing. At least his wife got smart and left him. Not for nothing, but Frankfort is too worried about their kids going to school with non-Italian children to approve the merger...Frankfort voted against it, so how is the "merger" even a topic here?

I don't disagree with you but on the other hand it underscores just how backwards Frankfort is, in everything from law enforcement to education. I wouldn't want my police department having anything to do with Frankfort. I sure as hell don't want Ron Petrie, Jim Getman or any of their cronies having anything to do with law enforcement in my community. The one good thing about Frankfort is that the corruption has largely stayed in one place. Let's leave it there.
