Ted Collins is doing everything under the sun to get rid of Fire Chief Gary Watts. Ted despises Gary, and this stems back to when Ted was Sheriff. Fact is, Gary Watts is the most experienced Chief the county has ever had and will ever have for many years to come. His credentials and qualifications are impressive indeed.
Ted is more focused on his own personal vendetta against Watts, than he is about the well being of the people of Franklin County.
Ask any firefighters who were around with the last chief, and they will tell you how much better the department and the county are today because of Chief Watts.
Ted can fire anyone he wants who work for Fiscal Court, and replace them with family members and pay them even more. What was the payroll budget before Ted became Dictator(boss) compared to now? And my, how those new ladies working for him keep getting younger and prettier. Very important job qualification for running an effective government.
HEY TED, WAKE UP!! Hate Watts all you want, you have the right not to like the man. But to put the voters at risk by getting rid of the most qualified person and replacing him with one of your pals. ARE YOU SERIOUS.
The best part is whenever Ted pulls a stunt, the Magistrates claim they didnt know. If they dont know, they should. And if they still dont know, they need to be replaced by ones who really care about the well being of the voters. VOTES COUNT BUT VOTERS SHOULD COUNT EVEN MORE

I can't understand why the voters of Franklin County don't see that Ted only thinks about Ted and not the employees and residents of the county. I'll have to give Ted credit, he's a true politcian, he looks you in the face and tells you any lies that you want to hear. Then again, HE'S A GOOD DEMOCRAT.

It could be because Chief Watts is about 10 times smarter than Ted. Compairing a smart man to a dumbass.

Ted Collins is abusing his authority and needs to removed. They need to investigate him and all the vandetta he has against certain people in the community. Chief Watts is doing a great job, and should file a complaint against Collins. Can't get any dummer than Collins, who's butt is he kissing? We need him removed, he is a disgrace to Frankfort.

The problem is that Ted is a member of the good ole boy's club, as a matter of fact he is the president. It's a wonder that he can wipe his own ass.

Somebody with evidence should give info to the reporter at the Herald Leader who busted KACO and the League of Cities. Heard the State urinal is in his back pocket, so wouldn't do any good to give it to them.

Information has been obtained, and more is being gathered. Witnesses are being rounded up, plus some attorneys. Some media has been notified, and they have argreed to keep low until they are given the word. More media outlets will be informed, but the State Journal will be left out.
Ted Collins better start to worry, because he will have to answer. Plus, the magistrates will have to explain why they kept quiet. Many people who has voted for Ted Collins will be very surprised at how childish and vendictive their Judge-Executive has acted.

I really hope that is the case. I would love to see Ted Collins exposed for what he really is, but sadly, until I see the things you talk about in print or on the television, I can't get my hopes up.

It is sad to see all this negativity concerning Ted Collins. We would like our elected officials to base all their decisions on what is good for this county. Mr. Collins' confidence that he is untouchable amazes me.
I hope that the fire department chief stands his ground, and that the firemen rally around him. If this does indeed make its way into the news(TV and papers) that would'nt reflect well on Collins. Not that firemen are without fault, but the public has a higher degree of respect and sympathy for those people than they do a politician.
If they say that their department and the level of service to the public will suffer, I tend to believe them over an elected official. It's a shame. I voted for Ted Collins, but if this does make the news, and it is true, I will direct my vote to the other candidate next election.

I have voted for Ted, but I have been hearing some disturbing things lately. I went with my husband down to Fiscal court to pick up a permit for taking trash to BFI. While down there I wanted to see Deborah, who I have not seen in a while. I found out that she had been fired. I also noticed that there were two very young ladies working the reception desk, why the extra girl?
I have heard of Ted's sexcapades with young girls, and from good sources. Someone who has witnessed him in action at these so called after hours parties is loose with the lip.
We have also talked to about a dozen firefighters we know and trust, and they tired of the blatent attacks on their chief by Ted. I believe these men, they risked themselves to save our neighbors home. And it sounds like Ted is wanting to risk our other neighbors homes because he dislikes their chief.
I hope that as a community, we will do what we can to help those who are always willing to help us. I have known Ted and his family for a long time, and I am deeply hurt by this news.

My goodness! Shame on Ted Collins, I did not know he was so corrupt. I like our firemen and what they do for us. Our policemen too! Those folks dont get paid alot, so the least we can do is to make sure they have a good working enviroment.

All you people crying about Ted make me sick. So what if he wants to fire the fire chief, he can do so. It dont matter how good that chief is, if Ted dont like him, then he aint worth liking.
And if Ted wants to date young hot girls, so what. Are you jealous? If they are over 18, then there is nothing wrong. Quit feeling sorry for the poor firefighters. They are getting paid to sit on their asses, what a job.
I like going downtown now. Before, the women working there was all old,fat,and ugly. That Dawn girl, if she didnt get fat, she would still be downtown. But now,she fits right in at the firestation. Sittin on her ass doin nothin like the rest of those cry babys.

It's true Teddy does not like chief Watts and I don't know why. Chief Watts is a very informed person that knows and does his job. I think the problem is that chief Watts is just not an ASS kisser and Teddy likes for people to kiss his ASS. It's true that he got rid of Dawn, Debra and he wanted to get rid of Todd but he did not have the balls to do so. I understand that he will have a solid opponent in the next election and a lot of truth will come out. Bye Bye Teddy.

I don't see how anybody could not like Chief Watts, he's a great man and does a great job with what he has to work with. It would be a HUGE loss to Franklin Co. to get rid of Chief Garry Watts.

Hey Ted, tell me why we need a county judge and an assistant county judge? Would we not save the county a large amount of yearly money to have just one. I think that this started with Judge Bob Arnold who was blind. Blind is one thing, just plain stupid is another.

My name is Brad Durr, and I am a firefighter(the best) with the Frankfort Fire Department. I worked for the County and worthless Gary Watts. I have been trying hard to help Ted Collins get rid of Watts. By doing so I would be the new chief. And if any of those guys have a problem with this, they know where they can find me. I have no problem putting the beat down on them. Just like at the city, the guys I work with now understand that I am not to be messed with
