Nice to hear they have somebody competent in charge out there,it can be a nice place with the right people in charge. It's about time the crooks and drug using hillbillies have nothing to say about what goes on there.

Well now they lying, backstabbing two face, ass kissing jackasses. The ones that tried for years to make things happen weren't allowed no matter how hard they tried. They have pictures news paper articles, and hundreds of people that will stand up for the people you are talking about. So until you really know the facts it's best you don't say things about upstanding citizens of Frankfort. GROW UP!

OOOps sorry, After reading several of the post on this topic, I thought that we were talking about the people that run downtown Frankfort with all of the lieing, backstabbing, asskissin jackasses going around. Seems Franktucky has an epidemic on its hands. My apologies.

It would be nice if someone would drive around Frankfort and make landlords fix their shacks and make people remove the trash from their lawn and front porch. Many of these homes I am referring to are on the main highways leading into this town. How about it city officials???

Good question...it seems that it's easier for people to get on here and sling insults than to try and take some of that energy and make a difference. I prefer to be part of the solution, not the problem. I find it interesting that the people who do the most complaining are the ones that do the least. Take some of that energy and get involved if you don't like the way things are being done in our community. There are plenty of projects to volunteer in so I challenge you to get off the computer and off your lazy butts and do something to make a difference. If we all pitch in then just maybe our community would be a better place to live for everyone. It's not doing anyone any good complaining about our elected officials. If you don't like what they are doing then vote them out. I know that the people I vote for don't always make it to office but that doesn't mean that I can't still try and make a difference.

i have to agree with some of what people are saying. 2junk yards in the middle of town. what a way to say welcome to our town! why are the yards in town? frankfort is the only town that has that. you worry about some run down apts when we have just as many run down homes that are just as bad! get a grip on the really bad spots then and only then do we worry about the small stuff! the junk yards make our town look junky!!!!!!

Really!!! Is that all you can say..I am personally sick of hearing it. Get over it...McBarnes won and it's not going to change for another 3 years. I'm not saying that I supported him or agree with what he is doing, just saying there's nothing that can be done about it now so get over the koolaid crap and move on and try to do something productive.

You know what, the funny thing is I really could care less about who the Mayor is. Put an ape in that office. It really doesn't matter as it is just a figure head position in this town anyway. The Mayor, no matter who it is , has already sold their soul to the powers that be long before the election is even over with....or they wouldn't be mayor. So that should just about finish the discussions on the Mayor issue. What has, is and most likely always will burn my ass about this town...is that a few people are allowed to continually bilk this community out of thousands of dollars while getting on tbeir soapboxes and complaining that others are not doing more. It is no wonder that people have adopted the mantra, "why keep pulling the cart, when we can just get on the cart and ride for free while poor saps that want to keep trying to make this a nice place to raise a family etc keep pulling the cart". Instead of going on a rant about the koolaid we need to all get together as a community and run some if these crooked idiots out of town. Everything else is just an excuse and we really need to start seeing some results. Just saying.
I agree. But how is it that it's always the same people getting into these positions? I think something needs to be done about the party chairman. As far as I'm concerned it all starts there and until they are forced out nothing will change. However, please don't blame it all on the citizens of the town. There really are people that care and want to make a difference and the way I look at it is I know that my intentions are pure without expecting anything in return. Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves....eventually!

Just how in the heck is it the party chairmans fault? He might make suggestions but he only has ONE vote just like everyone else!

Because they always put the same people (puppets) in office. The average person doesn't stand a chance. Be curious to see who is appointed to fill in for Jim Davis. I will almost bet that it was determined before it was ever advertised. Doesn't matter if you have experience they just want someone they can control. It's time to let someone new in the little circle.
