We went to "Fox on Wolf" tonight and received the worst service I've EVER had anywhere. We were told by the manager that "the hostess knows our waitress can only handle three tables at a time!" WTF? Our appetizer never arrived and the waitress tried to tell us we didn't order it. They brought out the pizza but not the 3 pasta dishes that our table of 5 ordered. It took over 30 minutes before the rest of the food was brought out. Then to top it off, they only discounted our ticket by 15%, we certainly won't be back...even tho the pizza was really good.

That's why people who know good food go somewhere else after their first dining experience. Hopefully, Fox's will work on their service. Thanks for the info

I wasn't impressed with Bluestone pizza, cold and bland. Pizza Mia is pretty good. My favorite pizza in this area is, hands down, Enrico's in Frankfort. I'm wondering why it wasn't nominated by anyone?

We found Pizza Mia underwhelming. Am I the only one who thinks it will be a long time before anything better than Aurelio's is found? For deep-dish, Lou Malnati's is my favorite, but I don't think there are any in the south suburbs. The one I used to frequent before moving here was in Buffalo Grove.

Only home made has less sodium. ALL takeouts dont give a hoot and add one thousand plus. Gets ridiculous. Does someone want to bloat all up until they explode? Ask yourself why your so sick? Thats since theres such gross high sodium amounts people. Men and woman get bloated sick after eating. The dough or ingredients are not doing this but the sodium!!! If ask these bastards theyll act bothered since they like to bloat and get sick I guess. Some brand named "Mamma's something" crust stands the most heat. And they add all this sugar now to Dominos and Papa Johns tastes like some dessert not real food! Thats why I dont like those two and Pizza Hut always has tasted most like some salty burned scab. Pizza's one of the quickest easiest to prepare at home foods on this planet !!! So I don't get why people go order this one. Simply prep several ahead big or mini and fridge 'em then heat heat at a microwave later.
If microwaves not cooking them properly and gets over moist might need new one. So get a new microwave and these cook until brown or use a toaster oven.

I like Beggar's Pizza because they don't skimp on the cheese or sauce, ok maybe a bit too much sauce but overall I think it is pretty good. Parmesan's in Frankfort is really good for something different. Barraco's is ok too. But the tops is the pizza my wife makes. B^)

As a mom on the go, I love Wendy's dollar menu. My kids can get a nice chicken sandwich, split some fries and all for $3. Subway is not kid friendly with their menu. Stopped by one in the area recently and spent $13 for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and some chips - yikes! And not much on the sandwiches. Blimpies loads up their sandwiches.

I think we are talking about the best pizza places, not really fast food in general. Got any suggestions?

Their old, seasoned ovens still make the best around. Or Gino's East downtown for the same reason. Locally...Pizza Mia is OK I guess. None really make me say, hey, gotta have it!

aurelio's in Bourbonnais/Bradley & also in Frankfort gets my entire family physically ILL- will never EVER go there again! Papa Joe's in Orland is definitely substandard & tastes terrible, the place itself smells dirty- Beggars in Mokena & New Lenox are the best & also Parmesan's in Frankfort is great brick oven pizza! As a family with 6 kids, we've tried just about every pizza place in the area!

If you want truly authentic Brooklyn New York Pizza, Pizza Stop in Rochester New York is the place to go!! They have a crispy thin crust Pizza with an excellent tomato sauce that tastes like fresh tomatos. Baked on the well done side with whole milk mozzarella on stone floor ovens. Only fresh produce, fresh meats and herbs blended with Imported Italian Olive Oil make these Pizzas taste and smell like grandma's kitchen. The pepperoni is cut from the stick, burning slightly around the edges with a little more spice then what you get at the average chain Pizza Shop. The crust while being light and crispy tastes like the Italian Bread we get from our local Italian bakery. Pizza Stop is owned and run by some old Italians born in Brooklyn New York and it shows. The store are neat and very clean. For anyone in Upstate New York who cannot find that New York Pizza they remember, Pizza Stop is worth the trip. Midtown Plaza, Medley Centre Mall and 121 State street.

The best thin crust pizza around is Little Joe's in New Lenox. I used to go to the original Little Joe's in Chicago on 63rd St. Everything on their menu is good, but their pizza is the BEST!
