However, I believe there was a Maura sighting in Exeter and If I remember correctly Scarinza even eluded to following all leads including a possible sighting in Exeter. Maybe someone here has that quote.

In James Renner´s documents there are references to NHSP having at some point contacted LE in Exeter,NH, and Oxford County (in SW Maine)as well as the Sullivan Co,NY, Dept of Corrections.
Is it feasible that Maura might have been seen in Exeter, NH, and in Oxford County, ME, just across the NH-ME state line?
Was either of these locations the site of the last known observation of Maura, but if so never revealed to the public at large by LE?
I think it's more likely that police were checking out reported possible sightings that didn't turn out to be Maura. The department of corrections is an odd one though. I'd been hoping Renner would look into that more.

Recently there was talk of a mmurr0 ebay account here. I believe I have solved the mystery. It belonged to someone named Stephen M Murr who passed away in 2011. The account is not related to Maura in any way.

Maybe an inmate who calimed to have information in an attempt to get leniency? Not uncommon, from what I´ve read.

Hannah, Can you explain how you are able to link this persons name with his email? The only stephen M Murr that I came up with in obituaries did die last year but he was from Phili. You might be right but could you explain how you came to this conclusion?

Thanks

I was bored yesterday and thinking about the credit card fraud. I'm sure many people have done this, but I looked up MM on the Inmate Locator sites for almost every state - there were a couple that didn't have online access - and she wasn't listed on any of them.

So, FWIW, if she did continue with cc fraud, she hasn't gone to prison for it, unless it was in the two states that I couldn't access, which I think were one of the Dakotas and Rhode Island.

I also thought this was interesting. I had previously thought that the Murray family switched from running away/suicide theories to murder only a day after she was first reported missing, but watching an interview with her sister Kathleen from WMUR, they had been searching for three days after February 9th and it appears they were still thinking MM had run away of her own free will.

From the interview, Kathleen said: "She might be afraid that she's gonna get in trouble, but we just want to let her know that it's fine we just want her to come home."

The news reporter: "While her family believes she may have been upset about something, it was nothing that would have caused this type of alarm. Still they're very concerned."

I guess I'm surprised that that many days into her disappearance, the thought of foul play wasn't their primary focus.

I also have to wonder if her family even knew about the CC fraud at that time. I would think that MM would not have shared that info with her family if she didn't have to, and it sounds like, if the charges were going to be dismissed after three months, then they would never have to know. If that is true, then what other things did her family members think were so bad to make her run away? What would make them say MM might "get in trouble" for? The second car accident? DUI? Or something else? Something that hasn't been made public?

Just thinking out loud here, feel free to tear those thoughts apart.:)

Probably just a coincidence but there was a car with Texas plates
that was looked into the night Maura disappeared and, this guy Israel was arrested in Texas. Everything I read about israel shoes Washington state, Alaska or NY as residence. I wonder if he ever resided in Texas.
Thanks for this and you too, mcsmom. The white construction truck as come up before, but now that this man is in jail, maybe he will want to fess up to more killings. He was seen driving the missing VT couples vehicle, so they likely put him under pressure to open up about it. Now it's just w aiting game as to if he harmed one or two from NH.
It's odd though, that out of all the missing, they only want to look into Louise and Maura....hmmmmm

A foul play scenario was introduced by fred to put pressure on the police to work his daughter's case. Had he not done so, the police were just going to treat maura's disappearance as a typical adult (disappear on their own choice) type of case which would mean no justification for a ton of resources to find that person.

Fred, as a ploy, intentionally introduced the foul play scenario.

Fred actually initially believed his daughter was suicidal.

The dept of corrections was Sullivan county NH and not NY. I believe it was a typo on a previous post. Sullivan County is in south western NH (Claremont).

While I agree that Fred did seem to change his mind from Runaway to dirt bag took her. Le (scarinza)also eluded to to the possibility of her getting into another car.

These quotes are from two separate articles.

"After wrapping up their own search that day, Fred and Billy met with reporters in an outdoor press conference in Bethlehem, N.H. on Thursday night. "This is very unusual," Fred explained to reporters. "It's not like her to just take off."

"Fred pleaded for Maura to come home. "I don't know what the matter is, or the trouble you think you might be in, but it isn't anything we can't solve," he said through the media. "It's me - you can tell me. We'll work it out until we solve it."

"Scarinza continued that train of thought: "My sense is that she might have gotten a ride. But we don't know her ultimate destination. It's interesting that her backpack was missing from her car. That some liquor was missing. Until we know for sure what happened, we're going to treat this case as if she was a victim of a crime."

Since Renner added his documents section he eliminated the evidence section of his blog. I am finding the accident reports but I am not finding the Police logs and phone calls.Does Anyone see them or have
links to them?

After reading this again I can't help but think that Fred was not aware of the CC Fraud when Maura dissappeared. Fred seems to be leaning towards Maura a runaway . Freds only knowledge of Mauras troubles was the Toyota crash and he honestly thought that was talked through with maura aka put to bed sort of speak.

"There was something she wanted to get away and think about," said long-time friend Liz Drewniak. "Maybe she just wanted to get away. She was probably under a lot of pressure."

At what point did Mauras Family think that Maura was

This is from an article in 2008 done by Maura's hometown newspaper

Also in the article, Haverhill officer Cecil Smith says Murray told him Maura was “depressed” over a previous accident and that he hoped she wasn’t “doing the old squaw walk,” a euphemism for suicide. Murray denies saying his daughter was depressed and claims the squaw comment was taken out of context.

Also if you went through James Renner's document download, you can come across the 911 call logs not just for Feb 9 (night maura went missing) but also for the following day.

In the Feb 10 911 logs, There is a message 911 is trying to relay over to police that fred is trying to get a hold of them urgently because he has some important information to tell them about maura.

If maura was abducted, the police would be having some important info to tell fred not the other way around.

Bottom line, fred immediately thought maura was suicidal, then he came up with the ploy of a boogey man to put pressure on police and ever since he introduced the boogey man theory, he has been back-walking his comments about maura being potentially suicidal. Even trying to over explain things like her dorm being packed up (because she hadn't had proper time to unpack) which is a load of BS and he knows it. She had been back to the dorms for 14 days.
