Dear I-M...age does not determine who is or is not able to drive. I know of elderly who have all control of their facilties and have no problem with driving. I know middle aged individuals that make me wonder how they ever got their license in the first place.

Dear Getting it Out...I'm praying for the safe return of Brenda. Did the Eagle print a correction of the license plate? If not, insist that they do ~ and, on the front page!

Lord have mercy on those that make nasty comments. I for one was stuck in that traffic for over an hour just for two exits at exit 14. All I could do was say a prayer. It was quite obvious by seeing the grey vehicle in the median someone was deceased. How can people comment negatively on the ACCIDENT. No one KNOWS how this accident happened. Could have been the fault of another driver, an animal crossing the highway. Too many people are too eager to judge. God rest the soul and my thoughts and prayers are with the surrivor as well as the deceased. All you could do when driving by last night was pray whomever, passed away did so immediately and didn't suffer. Have some compasion you dirtbags. This could happen to you or one of your loved ones. Age is only a number in life and death. Yes, there are many seniors that shouldn't be driving but there are just as many if not more teenagers that should not be driving or have even gotten their licenses. I'd like to see the driving age go up to EIGHTEEN. Yes, test seniors periodically. Then again, maybe we ALL need to be tested periodically.

To I-M. Over the age of "5". well since you must have meant 50, and most of have to work until at least 70, if we can still work, we can still drive. I'm not even 50 yet, but that is not old to be driving. I agree the age should go UP for kids, who text, talk on the phone, pile kids in the cars, speed. This was a lovely couple enjoying time in the families vacation home. The deceased has only been retired about 3-4 years to spend time with her family. She and her husband drove everywhere together. This woman was an RN and helped people her whole life. She was a pleasue to work with and an honor to know her.
Thank you "passion" for your kind words. Just thinking about what you saw, now knowing who that wonderful woman was, and how this is going to affect her husband and family is unthinkable. I hate thinking of what you witnessed it must of been awful. Thank goodness my memories of her were of fun and laughter. People should not judge until they know the facts, even then keep your opinion to yourself. What if it was your family. She left a husband, children and grandchildren-3 years of retirement after working her whole life. From what is known at this time, she died upon impact and Thank God did not have to suffer. It is one of those times when you wake up the next day, and it hits you that is was real and all I could see is the life she had ahead of herself with her loving husband and family. To think of her killed in that car is a horrific feeling. I pray for her family and that Mary Kay-you are now at peace and with God. And may there be many an Old Irish Pub waiting for you.

We will be on the look out for Brenda. I am little confused paper said she was last seen by mom on Oct. 25 and I am now reading Oct. 27 which one is the accurate day that she was last seen by mom?
This is very important.
Also I received some information about Brenda being sighted on a Walmart surveilance camera. Not too clear what Walmart or when but I was told this morning this information.

I am sorry if I misled you friend of deceased. I was not there at the time of the accident. Thank God. All I did see after sitting in traffic was a grey car in the embankment. My prayers began immediately. By the time I sat in traffic nearly an hour (and I didn't mind) All that was there was the vehicle in the embankment and numerous state police vehicles. There wasn't even an ambulance nor fire engine there. There was only one lane of traffic open and it was so sad to just imagine how tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and if it helps any, my opinion is God rest her soul by the looks of the vehicle. She had to have passed away immediately. You too must be a kind, loving, compasionate person. Some people young and old have NO FEELS, NO SENSE OF COMPASION. It's all about me to them. Well, someday the ME just might be the THEM.
