Darell W. Johnston pled quilty to plea

I am the ex wife of Darell, mother to one of the victims that Darell had sexually assaulted. However my daughter was assaulted by this man for over two years. Darell is retired from the Bureau of Prisons and terminated from Geo group a private prison in Florence AZ. Darell worked as a LT. for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for many years. And after medically retiring for some odd years, he went to work for two private prison. CSC in Otero Co. CCA now GEO which opened the Sexual offenders unit in Florence AZ. as a LT. Darell was indicted on a total of 19 counts arrested back in Feb. 07 in which his sister of valley farms bailed him out.
On Sept. 29th 08 Darell Johnston took a plea and pled guilty to counts 6 and 12 of the 19 counts which one was sexual assault and the other dangerous crime committed against a child under 15, both of the counts were ammended down to aggrivated assault charges which hold both to be felony charges. Darell as so many other sexual pediphiles get a chance in a life time to plea out.. having the courts stipulate to them, what their chances are if going through a jury trial. Darell was told last monday if found guilty he would most likely die in prison. This I am sure scared the holy crap out of him if there is anything holy left in him. So he took the plea and will be facing jail time and probation. I have learned through this ordeal most sexual offenders take a plea and most pleas are not normal or are they truly right. But this is how are justice system works. So all I can say is I heard him plea guilty and state the facts of count 6 and count 12 in which these counts were ammended to a lessor charge. But he did admit guilt. I remember one conversation Darell and I had and that was about the guilty, if the guilty refuse a polygraph test they are guilty in his eyes.. Guess what, he refused the test. Darell is guilty and there are two victims who thanks to his pleading guilty will not have to relive the pain he caused them. I the mother of the one victim can speak for myself... The past two years were hard and long and even if justice is not prevailed properly justice does prevail through one way or the other. Darell will have to answer to our Lord above. And that is good enough for me!
